Robot cell as a palletizing system: compact stacking – big advantage

A wide variety of different production concepts can be implemented using the Liebherr palletizing cell. They can be used in manufacturing islands for loading individual machines, in cell systems with blank and finished part storage systems, or as a decoupling module in a manufacturing line. The Liebherr palletizing cell (LPC) decouples the process sequence, creating buffer times and reducing employee workload.

Transport container: Standardized interface for all processes

Standardized transport containers with basket technology help to streamline logistics. Workpieces remain in a wire basket or workpiece carrier along the entire material flow. Once the workpiece baskets have been loaded, there is no need for any further manual handling of the parts. The initial loading can also be automated in combination with robot vision solutions from Liebherr.

Increased efficiency in metal-cutting manufacturing

For especially fast changeovers, we have provided interactive processes: The operator selects a part arrangement in the basket, then enters the workpiece dimensions and the Liebherr software automatically calculates the required axis positions. Time-consuming teaching-in processes are a thing of the past and your system will be operational quickly.

Separate or combined handling of blanks and finished parts

Thanks to the modular platform system, palletizing cells from Liebherr are particularly flexible. This means the best solution can be found for any automation task. The palletizing cell can be used simply as a means for loading blanks or finished parts for cells or lines. Mixed operation using blanks and finished parts is also possible. This allows individual machines to be automated. Configurable options form the basis for each production scenario.

Shelf magazine system

Our shelf magazine system combines fixed work-piece fixtures with a gantry loading system. The shelf magazine can be loaded from the top or from the side. The modular design allows the system to be extended to match your layout and storage capacity requirements. The system is based on the FIFO Principle for storage management.
