LTM 1040-2.1 - More lifting capacity on two axles.
The LTM 1040-2.1 delivers outstanding lifting capacities over its entire operating range. Its long, 4-piece telescopic boom can be extended with infinite adjustment and quickly to any length using a time-tested hydro-mechanical telescoping system. The telescoping process can also be completed whilst there is a load on the boom. A folding jib can be used to achieve a radius of up to 39 metres. In comparison to the slightly smaller LTM 1030-2.1, this mobile crane can handle five tonnes more on its hook.

Technology
ECOmode
ECOmode minimises both fuel consumption and noise emissions when operating the crane superstructure. The crane operator sets the required working speed using the control lever. The crane control system calculates the perfect engine speed for the diesel engine.
VarioBase®
VarioBase makes the crane’s support system variable. It enables each outrigger to be extended to a different length. This enhances safety – particularly in constricted spaces.
And what's more, the crane’s lifting capacities are significantly increased, particularly over the outriggers and depending on the configuration.
HVO ready
Up to 90 % lower CO2 emissions in action.
ECOdrive
ECOdrive makes the mobile crane significantly more comfortable and quieter by reducing the engine speed. Faster gearshifting delivers greater dynamic and traction offroad. On the road, the torque from the Liebherr diesel engine is used efficiently to minimise fuel consumption.
