How Liebherr cranes power one of Alaska’s largest infrastructure projects

In the remote wilderness of Southern Alaska, innovation meets determination. The Juneau Creek Bridge, spanning an impressive 951 feet (290 m) is set to become one of the largest infrastructure projects in the state, transforming traffic flow and safety along the Kenai Peninsula. This two-phase multi-bridge and roadway project near Cooper Landing is more than a construction site; it is a feat of engineering powered by Liebherr LR 1300.1 SX crawler cranes, lifting and assembling the bridge sections.

Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation collaborates with Liebherr USA, Co. and Morrow Equipment Company to further advance the world’s largest mountain carving in the Black Hills of South Dakota honoring Crazy Horse, a Lakota war leader of the Oglala. Utilizing the Liebherr 1000 EC-H top slewing tower crane, the project site can now handle materials faster and utilize higher lifting capacities essential for this large-scale project.

Compact precision: Liebherr MK mobile construction crane solves space constraints in Miami Design District

Bringing a new design to life, the flagship Cartier store in Miami’s Design District went through a full remodel requiring the unloading and placement of multiple handcrafted glass panels to line the modern exterior of the store. Cartier turned to North American Crane & Rigging, LLC. who recently added their fourth Liebherr MK mobile construction crane to their Miami based fleet.
