The hydraulic cylinders ensure that buckets, grapples, shears and other tools operate reliably. Thanks to their robust design, they are built to withstand high loads and changing operating conditions.

Hydraulic cylinders in scrap shears generate enormous cutting forces to efficiently process metal. They deliver precise and powerful movements that cut through thick and hard material with ease. Their robust construction ensures long service life and reliable performance in intensive continuous operation.

Depending on the application, we can equip our products with the latest technologies, such as carbon‑fibre‑reinforced plastics (CFRP) for lightweight hydraulic cylinders or customised sensor solutions integrated into the cylinder.

We manufacture hydraulic cylinders that are ideal for use with Genesis GmbH’s scrap and demolition shears, which are produced by one of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Twelve of our cylinder types are used in every model of the GXT series. We also deliver our cylinders to the US state of Wisconsin for Genesis Attachments LLC, the parent company.

The XMB concrete crusher series from Gebrüder Egli Maschinen AG in Switzerland consists of various crusher sizes, all equipped with our hydraulic cylinders as standard. For this demolition‑sector project, we were able to draw on our extensive expertise in manufacturing scrap shear cylinders.

Hydraulic cylinders are the heart of motion control in mobile cranes – they lift, lower and position loads with precision. They also ensure reliable operation under dynamic load conditions.

Support cylinders stabilise the mobile crane and distribute the load evenly across the ground. Their design must provide high load‑bearing capacity, stiffness and pressure resistance to safely absorb axial and lateral forces. The sealing systems and materials must be engineered to remain fully functional under changing loads, temperature fluctuations and environmental influences.

Luffing cylinders enable the precise positioning of the crane boom. To ensure smooth and controlled load handling, particular attention is paid to a friction‑optimised design.

In addition, the cylinders are designed for lightweight construction to move even heavy loads efficiently. This includes the use of high‑strength tube materials.

Our suspensions in mining haul trucks reliably cushion the loads that occur during the loading and unloading of bulk material and absorb impacts while driving. Their design prevents vibrations from being transmitted uncontrollably to the frame, axles or body. This not only improves driving stability and traction on uneven terrain but also reduces material fatigue and minimises downtime.

Both hydraulic cylinders and suspensions for mining applications are engineered to be reconditioned up to three times. As a result, the cylinders achieve a service life of up to 4 × 12,000 operating hours, while the suspensions remain in service for up to 80,000 operating hours.
