First LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane in Brazil – Guindastes Tatuapé places its trust in Liebherr

The versatile telescopic crawler cranes built by Liebherr are delighting Brazilian company Guindastes Tatuapé. An LTR 1220 crane was delivered to Tatuapé in the middle of this year. It is the first crane of this type in Brazil and since then it has worked on a wide variety of sites – from football stadiums and factories to ports and railway tracks. The company is enjoying the benefits of the great economy of Liebherr telescopic crawler cranes.

Liebherr shows the proven 220-tonne mobile crane LTM 1220-5.2 at bC India. The 5-axle all terrain crane features a 60 m telescopic boom and reaches hook heights of up to 101 m and radii of up to 88 m with lattice extensions. The LTM 1220-5.2 offers a great flexibility of use due to optimum lifting capacities with full and also with partial ballast. The 220-tonne crane offers state of the art technology for more convenience in practical operation.

The LTM 11200-9.1 from Liebherr features a load capacity of 1,200 tonnes and a 100-metre telescopic boom. The fact that the heavy duty mobile crane is profitable is confirmed by the number of units delivered, with over 50 being sold since its market launch in 2007. The Max Bögl Group recently took delivery of its third LTM 11200-9.1 and visited the Liebherr plant in Ehingen to collect it. In total the construction company has received six Liebherr mobile cranes in 2014.

Krandienst Schulz decided on the new SL13 boom system which is designed for the erection of the latest generation of wind turbines with hub heights of over 150 metres.

Rieger & Moser take delivery of two new Liebherr mobile cranes

Ulm-based crane and heavy goods transport contractor Rieger & Moser took delivery of two new mobile cranes at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen in mid-August. The 60-tonner LTM 1060-3.1 and the LTM 1095-5.1 with a load capacity of 95 t will replace two old Liebherr cranes in the company's fleet. The new cranes will be suitable for an extended range of uses due to their considerably longer telescopic booms.
