Liebherr at Pollutec 2023

In Homburg, Saarland, the company Steil Kranarbeiten GmbH & Co KG has made it possible for the Schlossberg Hotel to stay open during construction work at the site by using a Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane. No other mobile crane in the required load class would have been compact enough to achieve this feat. Access to the hotel for guests, suppliers and, above all, emergency vehicles had to be guaranteed at all times.

WarnowKran takes delivery of its first mobile construction crane from Liebherr

Liebherr Transportation Systems (China) receives welding certificate

Liebherr Transportation Systems (China) based in Pinghu, eastern China, has successfully obtained the EN15085-2 CL1 welding certificate (TÜV SÜD /15085/CL1/886/23/0). The company thus strengthens its design, production and repair capabilities regarding air-conditioning technology and hydraulic actuation systems for all types of rail vehicles developed and manufactured in China for the domestic and international railway market.

At the 40th Matexpo: Koen Ricaert takes delivery of new Liebherr mobile construction crane

The Belgian trade fair Matexpo is where the European construction industry meets every year, with a focus on road construction, civil engineering and construction vehicles. Liebherr factory dealer Van Der Spek was on hand to show a MK 88-4.1 mobile construction crane, an 81 K.1 fast-erecting crane and a 270 EC-B 12 tower crane, while Belgian company Koen Ricaert BV used the fair to add an MK 88-4.1 to its fleet.

Restored, not retired: Liebherr R 996 mining excavator overhauled for maximum service life

In late July, a fully refurbished R 996 excavator went to work at Yancoal’s Cameby Downs mine in Queensland, Australia. This machine had originally served at Yancoal’s Yarrabee mine for almost 13 years before the mining company made the decision to completely overhaul the machine.

Liebherr mobile construction crane on top form along major road

A construction site on a busy road is a tricky challenge in itself. New Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes to expand Milplan fleet

In June, two new Liebherr LRT 1100-2.1 cranes arrived in Brazil. These rough-terrain mobile cranes are part of Milplan’s fleet expansion project. In addition, a new LTR 1100, a 100-tonne class telescopic crawler crane from Liebherr, completes Milplan’s order. The Liebherr R 9300 makes its Australian debut

The first Liebherr R 9300 mining excavator to hit Australian soil was commissioned in late August at the Karlawinda Gold Project, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MACA – a global contractor that works within the mining, construction, and process engineering sectors – is excited to welcome this machine to its growing Liebherr excavator fleet.

Liebherr presents innovations in gear cutting technology and automation at EMO 2023

Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH will present its latest innovations at EMO 2023. The fair will take place from September 18 to 23 in Hanover, Germany and is the world's leading trade fair for production technology. At two fair trade booths in Halls 11 and 13 the company will provide a platform to showcase products and solutions from the fields of gear cutting technology, gear cutting tools, metrology, and automation systems.
