No wish will be left unfulfilled – from various drive technologies all the way to digital solutions. The vast range of exhibition highlights offers a great product selection, be it a hydrogen or diesel engine, digital camera-monitor systems, the sensor for measuring the moisture of agricultural products or versatile axial piston hydraulics.

Training at Liebherr: pursuing a new chapter in life with unwavering commitment

In September, Liebherr welcomed over 400 new trainees at various Group sites in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. The range of apprenticeships at Liebherr is wide, but no matter the product segment – whether technical or commercial – skilled young talents are taking the next steps in pursuing a new chapter in their lives. 28^th Liebherr in 29 years: Ullrich Krane adds an LTM 1250-5.1 to its fleet

Ullrich Krane GmbH has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane. The 250-tonne machine replaces a 6-axle LTM 1250-6.1 that has served the company faithfully for nine years. The new 5-axle crane is the 28th crane that the Chemnitz-based company has bought from Liebherr during its 29 year history. The crane rental company has almost exclusively operated Liebherr mobile cranes since it opened for business.

Riccardo Gaspari and Liebherr: Cooking like in Italy – with a fiery heart and well-cooled ingredients

At Host 2023 in Milan right now you will find Liebherr promoting not only everything to do with refrigeration and freezing but also everything to do with good taste. At the brand’s booth, Riccardo Gaspari, a top chef with a Michelin Green Star, from the Italian town of Cortina DʼAmpezzo, is showing off his skills. Gaspari runs the restaurant SanBrite. A “Brite” is a mountain hut where milk is processed and “San” simply means healthy. At SanBrite, the term “agricucina” (Italian for agri-cuisine) is given its own distinctive flare by a unique interpretation of local cuisine using the right ingredients.

Zero emission, full power: The world's first LTC 1050-3.1E goes to Mammoet

The globally operating Dutch crane and heavy haulage company Mammoet has taken delivery of the first electrically driven Liebherr mobile crane. The LTC 1050-3.1E is equipped with an electric motor in addition to the conventional drive. Crane movements can thus optionally be carried out using electricity. The new variant of the compact Liebherr 50-tonner thus contributes to CO₂ reduction and meets the requirements for operation on "zero emission" construction sites.

Next-generation LICCON3 control: RIGA MAINZ receives one of the very first LTM 1110-5.2 cranes

Liebherr is delivering the first ten LTM 1110-5.2 cranes equipped with the new LICCON3 crane control to customers in Europe. All prototype tests are now complete and the series production stage has been reached. Liebherr will incorporate the crane operators' experience of working with the new crane type under real-world operating conditions into its series production process. The crane and heavy haulage contractor RIGA MAINZ has taken delivery of one of the first LTM 1110-5.2 machines.

Liebherr presents innovative solutions at NBAA-BACE 2023

As a major supplier to the international business aviation industry, Liebherr-Aerospace will participate in NBAA-BACE from October 17 to 19, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV (USA). The company will be represented in the North Hall at stand N4414. On display will be the latest innovations such as modular electro-mechanical actuators, solutions for local, decentralized hydraulic supply as well as environmentally friendly air humidification systems for comfort on board.

Liebherr USA, Co. holds 2023 earthmoving and material handling sales and training seminar

Liebherr’s earthmoving and material handling technology team hosted an on-site 2023 sales and training seminar at the USA headquarters. Approximately 70 attendees participated in the three day event taking place in South Eastern Virginia.

LTM 1750-9.1 in action in Cologne: balcony renovation at the Axa high-rise building

Once a showcase project and, at the planning stage, even Europe’s tallest residential building – the Axa high-rise on the banks of the Rhine in Cologne was completed in 1973 and still provides accommodation for around 1,000 people on 43 of its 45 floors. As the building’s exposed aggregate concrete balconies have been dilapidated for some time, they are now being removed and replaced. An LTM 1750-9.1 and, as an auxiliary crane, an LTM 1150-5.3 were brought in to prepare the work site.

Global Wind Projects and Global Crane Services expand their crane fleet with a Liebherr LG 1750

Global Wind Projects, a leading UK provider of crane and installation services for wind turbines, has joined forces with its sister company Global Crane Services to strengthen their joint crane fleet with a Liebherr LG 1750. The 750-tonne lattice boom mobile crane, which combines the performance of a crawler crane with the mobility of an all-terrain mobile crane, joins an LG 1750 and LR 1750 crawler crane, as well as over 60 mobile cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 25 to 750 tonnes in the Global fleet, and will help the company to meet growing demand from the wind industry in the UK and Ireland.

Complete RL series from Liebherr equips one FLNG

As a leader in the monetisation of natural gas, the manufacturer Wison has decided to purchase five new RL series cranes. This investment is part of a natural gas liquefaction plant (FLNG) that has been under construction since early 2023. It is the largest FLNG plant to be built by the company to date and was commissioned by the Italian energy company Eni. The 380 m long and 60 m wide vessel will be anchored at a depth of 40 m off the coast of the Republic of Congo.

Liebherr articulated dump trucks involved in major project at Lake Reschen

A major project worth around 21.5 million euros is being implemented at Lake Reschen in the municipality of Graun in Vinschgau (Italy). In order to make the SS40 state road safer, it is being relocated closer to the reservoir. The gigantic project, which will be implemented in two construction phases over three years, started in April 2023. Numerous Liebherr machines, including ten Liebherr TA 230 Litronic dump trucks, are involved and are responsible for both the earthmoving and execution of the backfill.

First new Liebherr mobile construction crane for Poland

An MK 88-4.1 mobile construction crane is the first new machine from the MK series in Poland. The company Piomar sp. z o.o. owns several mobile cranes built at Liebherr’s Ehingen site and has also decided in favour of Swabian manufacturing for its new taxi crane.

Liebherr Gear Technology and Automation Systems will participate in the prestigious motion + power technology expo in Detroit from October 17 to 19. The company will showcase an impressive range of innovative products at booth 2800, including the LC 400 M hobbing machine, the WGT 400 measuring machine, new skiving tools, the SECLA segment arbor, and the LHWebPlatform digitization solution.

Liebherr crawler cranes build second largest wind farm in Switzerland

In an eight-week operation, two Liebherr crawler cranes from Emil Egger AG, based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, have erected the country's second largest wind farm. The six turbines now installed, manufactured by Enercon, are expected to produce 22 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually. An LR 11000 as well as an LR 1700-1.0 have completed the wind turbines, which are almost 140 metres high.
