Whether IceMaker with or without plumbed-in connection or EasyTwist-Ice with a water tank – one thing is certain: no drink will remain uncooled at your party. On smaller occasions, the ice cube tray is a useful aid.
NoFrost: Never defrost the freezer again
The automatic defrosting function guarantees that frozen foods remain fresh. Cooled circulating air is frozen and the humidity is dissipated. In freezers the NoFrost function protects the entire freezer compartment against the unwanted build-up of frost and ice.

With low power consumption, our freezers help you save valuable energy. These peak values can be achieved by using high-quality vacuum insulation panels with silica. This helps keep energy consumption low even after years of use.

At Liebherr, you have the choice between fully integrated freezers and freestanding freezers. While fully integrated models fit seamlessly with your kitchen, freestanding freezers offer you the flexibility to place your appliance anywhere in your home. Whether you are looking for a small, space-saving freezer, a large freezer with more than three compartments, – we have a model to meet your needs.
With NoFrost, you never have to worry about the time-consuming task of defrosting your freezer again. The smart freezing technology of our self-defrosting freezers uses the cooled circulating air to freeze your food. Simultaneously, any humidity is caught by the evaporator, which is hidden in the upper, locked part of the freezer. Fans then distribute the cold air evenly throughout the freezer compartment, ensuring reliable freezing.
It is not always possible to place your freezer in a heated room. Are you planning to keep your freezer in a cool room, such as the garage or shed? Thanks to FrostProtect, that is no problem. All components of our freezers are designed to withstand extreme ambient temperatures up to –15 °C and guarantee smooth operation with a consistently low energy consumption.
With SuperFrost, your food is frozen very quickly in our freezers. The SuperFrost function rapidly lowers the temperature of your freezer to its lowest setting for maximum cooling power. The SuperFrost system returns to normal mode as soon as the freezing process is completed and after no more than 65 hours. With SuperFrost, all foods stay super-fresh and are packed with vitamins.
In March 2021, the new energy efficiency classes A to G were introduced. A is now the best category. That means that these freezers are particularly energy-efficient. In contrast, G is the worst energy efficiency class, which means that freezers in this category are not very energy efficient. The former additional classes A+, A++ or A+++ no longer exist.
A freezer uses between 10 Watts (0.01 kWh) and 34 Watts (0.034 kWh) per hour.
