Press releases | 02.09.2026
In times of increasing cost pressure, growing productivity requirements, and the demand for higher fuel efficiency, the use of advanced construction machinery is becoming increasingly important in the extractive industry.
At the steinexpo 2026, Liebherr will showcase machine solutions designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern quarry operations. Visitors will be able to experience the PR 756 G8 and PR 726 G8 crawler dozers as well as the T 60-9s telescopic handler. The machines on display combine high performance with advanced assistance systems and help operators increase productivity, precision and cost efficiency in quarry operations.
During the live shows, visitors can experience the Liebherr PR 756 G8 under realistic operating conditions. Designed for demanding earthmoving and material handling applications, the approximately 40-tonne crawler dozer combines outstanding pushing power with precise machine control.
The hydrostatic travel drive enables continuously variable power transmission and delivers high tractive effort even in challenging ground conditions. In addition, the Liebherr Operator Assistance System (OAS) supports grading operations. Features such as Free Grade, Definition Grade and 3D Grade facilitate fine grading as well as the creation of 2D and 3D terrain models. This helps improve process efficiency while ensuring precise working results.
Liebherr will also present the PR 726 G8 at its exhibition stand. The crawler dozer offers an ideal balance of performance, precision and operator comfort. Thanks to its increased blade capacities, the PR 726 G8 is suitable for both precise finish grading and applications requiring high pushing performance. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the machine’s capabilities in quarry operations, as well as its ergonomic cab design and operating concepts.
Liebherr crawler dozers are designed for demanding extraction and material handling applications. The hydrostatic drive concept ensures efficient use of engine power. Modern Liebherr diesel engines combine high power reserves with economical fuel consumption. At the same time, the robust design, the use of high-quality materials, maintenance-friendly machine concepts and a comprehensive service network contribute to high machine availability and long-term operational reliability.
With the T 60-9s, Liebherr presents a versatile machine for material handling and logistics tasks. Featuring a lifting capacity of 6 tonnes and a lifting height of 9 metres, the machine is already supporting the construction of the Liebherr exhibition stand before the event opens and will subsequently be displayed in the exhibition area. Thanks to its powerful working hydraulics and hydrostatic drive, it is ideally suited for efficient transport on rough terrain and the handling of large volumes of material. Its combination of manoeuvrability, precise controllability and high handling performance makes the Telescopic Handler an economical solution for a wide range of material handling tasks.
