Company owner Franz Sommer and son Björn Sommer visited the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the end of August to take possession of their new flagship, the 6-axis LTM 1300-6.2, in person. With this 300-ton crane, the Bremen crane company is expanding their fleet upwards, because the new crane is the company's first with a luffing fly jib.

At the 2014 GaLaBau trade fair, Liebherr is presenting the crawler excavator R 914 Compact, which supplements the product program of compact crawler excavators. The compact excavator was first presented at the 2013 Bauma trade fair in Munich (Germany). The design of this 15 tonne machine is based on the same concept as the A 914 Compact and A 918 Compact wheeled excavators that have already achieved market success.

Scholl takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane

Karl Scholl GmbH from Heidelberg took delivery of an LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen during July. The new 300-tonner will replace an LTM 1250-6.1 in the crane and heavy forward contractor's fleet. The LTM 1300-6.2 provides higher load capacities and its 78m telescopic boom means an additional 6m in length over the 250-tonne model.

At the 2014 NordBau trade fair in Neumünster, Germany, Liebherr presents its R 926 crawler excavator. With a service weight of 26 tonnes, the model supersedes the R 926 Classic und R 926 Advanced. Its Liebherr diesel engine is rated at 129kW (175hp) and, like all the engines fitted to the latest model series, complies with the stage IIIB / Tier 4i exhaust emission limits, thanks to efficient exhaust gas purification by means of a particulate filter with active regeneration.

At the 2014 NordBau in Neumüster, Liebherr is presenting its R 922 crawler excavator, which supersedes the previous R 906 model and has been introduced at the 2013 Bauma trade fair in Munich, Germany. Together with the R 918 and R 926 crawler excavators, the 22-tonne R 922 is a member of the newly developed product range with up to 24 tonnes service weight. Its Liebherr diesel engine with oxidating catalytic converter has a rated output of 105kW (143hp) and complies with Stage IIIB exhaust emission limits.

The Liebherr PR 736 – Generation 6 crawler tractor at the NordBau 2014 trade fair

Among Liebherr’s products on display at the 2014 NordBau trade fair in Neumünster, Germany, is the PR 736 crawler tractor, a new development with a service weight of between 20 and 25 tonnes. The world premiere of the first Generation 6 crawler tractor model was in 2013 at the Bauma trade fair in Munich, Germany. The machine concept has been designed for increased efficiency and reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
