Zimmermann expands crane fleet with Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 – VarioBase® and remote control deliver enhanced safety and comfort

"All the cranes in our fleet are from Liebherr – and we are very satisfied", reads the statement from Zimmermann Autokrane. The company has now expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 mobile crane. Zimmermann already has a machine of this type in its fleet which has proved both successful and reliable. The Liebherr VarioBase® innovation and the remote control mean that the new LTM 1100-4.2 can be used with even greater safety and economy.

Liebherr-Mining and Monnis International solidify their relations at Bauma 2016

Liebherr-Mining and the Mongolian company Monnis International are again intensifying their longstanding relationship: When M. Baz Chuluunbaatar, CEO of Monnis, visited the Bauma construction trade show in Munich (Germany), agreements were made to enlarge Liebherr’s mining product offerings for Mongolia. Dozers from Telfs (Austria) and mining trucks from Newport News, Virginia (USA), will now also be offered there.

New product catalogue for large diameter bearings

At Bauma 2016 in Munich (Germany) Liebherr presented its wide range of large diameter bearings this April. These have now been included into a new product catalogue. In addition to the option of a standardised selection of various bearing designs, the catalogue offers a comprehensive guideline for the construction and integration of a bearing into a respective machine.

Liebherr opens a new rental, sales and service centre in France

On April 1st 2016, Liebherr inaugurated together with 120 clients from the earthmoving, quarry and industry sectors a new rental, sales and service centre for the earthmoving machines in the départements Charente and Charente-Maritime in France.

SCHOLPP takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane

SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH from Stuttgart took delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane at the manufacturing plant in Ehingen in March 2016. The new mobile crane will replace an older crane of the same type. Managing Director Martin Scholpp explains: "We are so delighted with the LTM 1350-6.1 that we have bought the same model again, but now with new technologies such as VarioBase® and engine with Stage 4 emissions."

Liebherr at IFAT 2016 in Munich

Liebherr is represented with a roughly 300m² stand at IFAT 2016, the leading world trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which takes place from May 30 to June 3, 2016, in Munich. In Hall C3, Stand 251/350, Liebherr exhibits four special machines for recycling industry: two material handlers, one with a wheeled undercarriage and another with a crawler undercarriage, a wheel loader, as well as a telescopic loader.

Liebherr cranes for Ideal Crane Rental Inc.

Liebherr is pleased to announce an exciting series of sales to the USA that were completed during this year’s Bauma trade fair held in Munich Germany. Wisconsin based Ideal Crane Rental Inc. purchased cranes from all three of Liebherr’s crane producing companies, among them for the first time a crawler crane from Nenzing, Austria.

Liebherr-Betonpumpen GmbH delivers the first truck-mounted concrete pump with a 50-metre boom to the Manaseer Group in Jordan. The symbolic handover took place at Bauma 2016.

Distinguished for safety: The LICCON2

For the new LICCON2 crane control system, which enables automated set-up of luffing boom tips, Liebherr received the ESTA Award 2016. Christoph Kleiner, Managing Director of Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, took receipt of the prize at an award ceremony on April 14, 2016 in Munich.

Successful Launch of the R 9200 Mining Excavator

Liebherr has already sold ten machines of the newly launched R 9200 mining excavator. Three of these machines were purchased by PT Darma Henwa, a customer from Indonesia. The symbolic handover took place at the Bauma exhibition stand in Munich, Germany.

The trade journal Diesel Progress awarded the Liebherr Group two "Excellence In Equipment Engineering" awards for the wheel loader L566 XPower® and the mobile crane LTC 1050-3.1.
