Trade show premiere: the Liebherr A 914 Litronic wheeled excavator

At this year's Intermat, Liebherr will be presenting its Stage IV / Tier 4f emission standards compliant A 914 Litronic wheeled excavator at a trade show for the first time. With an operating weight of between 14,900 and 17,200 kg and an engine power of 105 kW / 143 HP, the A 914 Litronic adapts perfectly to both classic earthmoving and road, sewer and pipeline construction.

Liebherr completes the new Stereoloader® range for Intermat 2018

Liebherr completes the latest Stereoloader® generation at Intermat 2018. It is comprised of four wheel loaders with an operating weight of 5.5 to 9.2 tonnes. Two models in the new range will be celebrating their world premiere at the fair. Liebherr’s stereoloaders® have stood for safety and reliability for over two decades. The name of these wheel loaders refers to their unique stereo steering, which combines the advantages of different steering systems. Liebherr's stereoloaders®, measured over the outer edge of the equipment, consequently offer a significantly smaller turning circle than other wheel loaders in this size category.

The Liebherr ring-pan mixer: High quality Innovation for concrete.

Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH is launching the RIV 2.5 D, a new ring-pan mixer for the prefabricated parts and concrete products industries. This model introduces the ability to infinitely vary the speed of the double-agitator system and the main drive independently of one another. This is made possible by two powerful electric motors.

The New R 936 Compact crawler excavator to be presented at Intermat 2018 in Paris

Liebherr will be presenting its new crawler excavator, the R 936 Compact, at Intermat 2018 in Paris. Boasting compact dimensions and improved performance, this latest model by Liebherr-France SAS (from the production facility in Colmar, France) meets the needs of both the domestic market and those overseas. The new R 936 Compact crawler excavator constitutes a new addition to Liebherr-France SAS's range of compact crawler excavators, which already includes the R 914 Compact, the R 920 Compact and the R 926 Compact. With an operating weight of 35 t, this machine offers versatility, flexibility and productivity, while enabling operators to benefit from maximum reliability.

An All-round Machine for Deep Foundation Applications: the New Piling and Drilling Rig LRB 16 from Liebherr

Liebherr presents its new piling and drilling rig type LRB 16 suitable for the diverse requirements of deep foundation work. It convinces with its compact design as well as a range of available assistance systems, which ease the work on the jobsite. With a longer leader, the piling and drilling rig is also now available as a LRB 18.

Al Faris places major order for 25 Liebherr mobile cranes

Liebherr has received a major order from Al Faris Equipment Rentals: the company based in Dubai, UAE has ordered 25 new Liebherr mobile cranes to mark its 25th anniversary. The order includes twelve models of the brand new Liebherr LRT 1090-2.1 and LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain cranes. The first cranes from the order are due to be delivered late last year.

Liebherr and KAMAZ celebrate the finalisation and the production start of the mutually developed 6-cylinder in-line diesel engines.

BMS takes delivery of first Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 mobile crane

Danish crane and heavy haulage contractor BMS took delivery of the very first LTM 1090-4.2 in mid-December 2017. Liebherr first unveiled the 90-tonne crane in March of the same year at the Conexpo in Las Vegas. The new 4-axle crane is extremely flexible since it can travel with axle loads of 10 tonnes, 12 tonnes and 16 tonnes. It features a 60-metre telescopic boom, a whole 10 metres more than its predecessor, the LTM 1090-4.1.

250th Liebherr MK 88 mobile construction crane goes to BKV

Liebherr has supplied the 250th MK 88 to Barneveldse Kraanverhuur (BKV). The Dutch crane contractor is a long-term customer of the construction machine manufacturer and already uses a large number of Liebherr machines for its wide range of work.

Riga-Mainz completes impressive job with trio of powerful Liebherr cranes

Riga-Mainz produced an impressive performance in a demanding crane and heavy load job involving the installation of a bridge in Essen during November. A steel bridge weighing 418 tonnes and measuring around 50 metres in length had to be positioned over a section of railway track. One of the cranes involved was the new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane.

Christmas tree erected for luxury hotel in St. Moritz

It made a nice change for Swiss construction contractor Hartmann and its Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane. At the end of November, the 60-tonne crane erected a 12-metre Christmas tree in front of the Badrutt’s Palace luxury hotel in St. Moritz. The three tonne fir tree with Christmas decorations creates a festive highlight in the entrance of the 5 star hotel.
