Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane operated by Saller shows its efficiency at wind farm

Kran Saller GmbH based in Deggendorf in Bavaria, recently erected five wind turbines in five weeks at a wind farm in Dagebüll, Germany, near the Danish border. The heaviest load for the Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane was the rotor star at 61 tonnes which had to be installed at a hub height of 80 metres.

Un design innovant à forte valeur ajoutée pour le client : la nouvelle grue sur chenilles Liebherr LR 1100

À l'occasion du salon Bauma 2016, Liebherr présente un concept de grue sur chenilles innovant pour la classe 100 tonnes. La nouvelle LR 1100 sera disponible dans le monde entier dès l'été 2016. Le transport, le montage, la capacité de charge ainsi que la facilité d'utilisation sont axés sur l'optimisation de la valeur ajoutée pour le client.

Liebherr et Teufelberger développent un câble synthétique à haute capacité de charge pour les applications de levage de grues.

Liebherr développe en coopération avec le fabricant autrichien de câbles, la compagnie Teufelberger Holding AG, un tout nouveau câble synthétique très résistant et avec une très haute capacité de charges pour les opérations de levage. Ce projet repose sur une coopération systématique entre les ingénieurs de différents secteurs du groupe Liebherr, à savoir ceux de Liebherr-Components Biberach GmbH ainsi que ceux de trois sites de fabrication Liebherr pour les grues à tour, les grues mobiles et sur chenilles ainsi que les grues maritimes.

Liebherr crawler cranes with special equipment at the new Niederfinow boat lift

One of the most impressive industrial monuments in Germany has been providing reliable service for more than 80 years: the boat lift in Niederfinow on the Oder-Havel Canal. On this waterway which connects Berlin to Szczecin in Poland, the boat lift helps traffic to overcome a 36-metre elevation. The vertical lift hoists barges up to 80 metres in length using a massive water trough which can be closed like a lock chamber.

The Elbe Philharmonic Hall, a future concert hall and architectural highlight in the Port of Hamburg, can now be seen without any construction cranes for the first time since building work began in 2007. Hamburg-based crane and heavy haulage contractor Thömen used a Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane to dismantle the last of the four large top-slewing cranes which for years have dominated the skyline at the former quay warehouse. A demanding job completed in front of an imposing harbour backdrop.

Mammoet adds Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 mobile crane to its fleet in Ludwigshafen

Mammoet Deutschland GmbH took delivery of a new LTM 1400-7.1 in November. This Liebherr 400-tonne mobile crane significantly extends the company's crane capacity at its site in Ludwigshafen as previously a 200-tonne mobile crane was the largest in the fleet. The new crane will enable the company to meet its customers' demands, particularly for work in the chemicals industry. The main reasons behind the decision to buy the new crane were the good experience with an LTM 1400-7.1 which Mammoet has been operating in Leuna 2008 and the reliable service provided by Liebherr.

Satisfied with Liebherr cranes for 40 years – Anton Schick buys new LTM 1160-5.2 mobile crane

Building contractor Anton Schick bought its first Liebherr mobile crane over 40 years ago and remains a loyal Liebherr customer today. The building contractor's fleet currently consists of around 30 tower cranes and mobile cranes from Liebherr. In November 2015 Schick took delivery of a new LTM 1160-5.2 mobile crane at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen. Schick's new crane features high lifting capacities and modern technology with the innovative VarioBase® system.

New mobile cranes for Floßdorf – Liebherr persuades with innovation, efficiency and customer service

Crane and heavy haulage contractor Dietmar Floßdorf recently expanded its fleet with two additional Liebherr mobile cranes, an LTM 1100-5.2 and an LTM 1300-6.2. The experienced crane contractor made the purchase in response to demand from the market. Floßdorf attaches a great deal of value to the compact dimensions and the VarioBase® variable supporting base feature of the cranes. These enable Liebherr mobile cranes to deliver increased capacity and also make them extremely safe and flexible to use.

The Liebherr LTR 1060 telescopic crawler crane from Swiss crane contractor Clausen has already demonstrated its outstanding off-road capabilities many times. The LTR 1060 has now completed another extreme tour at an immense altitude of 2900 metres. It was required at the foot of the Matterhorn to help construct the mountain station for the new Hirli chairlift. The experienced team from Clausen and the Liebherr crane overcame the challenge with ease using its alpine experience and outstanding crane technology.

First LTM 1300-6.2 delivered to South Africa – Marlboro Crane Hire trusts in Liebherr mobile cranes

The Marlboro Crane Hire fleet has featured the very latest crane technology since September 2015. Liebherr delivered an LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane to the South African crane rental company. One of the main reasons for selecting the Liebherr crane was its 78-metre telescopic boom. Furthermore, the long-term partnership between the two companies is based on trust and absolute reliability.

Liebherr VarioBase® allows bridge to be constructed despite minimal space availability for mobile cranes

The first model of the new Liebherr LTM 1160-5.2 mobile crane was delivered to Swiss crane contractor Senn AG in the summer. Working with an LTM 1130-5.1 the new mobile crane completed a job during the last few weeks which other cranes would not have managed as a result of the restricted amount of space available. Over a period of eight nights, a 100-year old railway bridge was replaced in Aarwangen in the Canton of Bern. It was only possible to erect both cranes on a narrow, parallel road bridge using the VarioBase® variable supporting base developed by Liebherr.
