Haslach takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane

Crane contractor Haslach GmbH, based in the Allgäu region, has taken delivery of a new LTM 1130-5.1. The Liebherr 130 tonne crane is the fourth of this model which the company from Wertach has bought over the last few years.

Egyptian crane contractor buys used Liebherr LR 1400/2 crawler crane

Egyptian heavy haulage and crane contractor, The Specialized Contracting Company CRANES, based in Cairo, has one of the largest fleets of mobile and crawler cranes in the region. It recently bought a used LR 1400/2 crawler crane direct from manufacturer Liebherr. The 400-tonne crawler crane has already proven its worth after completing its first few jobs.

Kandla Cargo Handlers, based in Mumbai / India, took delivery of a refurbished LTM 1750-9.1 in April this year. The nine axle crane is the largest machine in the fleet of the crane rental company now and will be used mainly for industrial and wind power installations. After the trainings on the LTM 1750-9.1, the first job is now taking place.

Liebherr LR 13000 crawler crane loads massive oil platform

Just three hours rather than the normal 18 and no need to close the waterway – all made possible by the most powerful conventional crawler crane in the world. Mexican crane and heavy haulage contractor ESEASA used its Liebherr LR 13000 crawler crane for the first time to load oil platforms onto barges at the port city of Tampico.

Gas turbine from ship to power plant – HKV uses three 500-tonne Liebherr cranes

Crane and heavy transport contractor HKV Schmitz+Partner GmbH, based in Cologne, used three 500-tonne Liebherr cranes to transport a gas turbine from the port at Chempark Dormagen to a new-build power plant at the neighbouring site occupied INEOS in Cologne. Two LTM 1500-8.1 mobile cranes hoisted the turbine out of a freighter onto a heavy haulage vehicle and an LR 1500 crawler crane then placed it on a prepared site once it had arrived at the INEOS plant.

Liebherr strengthening its LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane

The Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane is getting stronger. The use of refined static calculation methods means that lifting capacity values have been increased across almost the entire working range. The LTM 1750-9.1 is becoming an 800-tonner, with the type designation LTM 1750-9.1 being retained. Liebherr has compiled a new luffing jib configuration using existing lattice sections to provide additional capacity increases for wind power applications. Cranes already in use on the market can be retrofitted with the new system.

Hennemann Holzbau renews fleet with two Liebherr mobile cranes

Hennemann Holzbau GmbH from Tautenhain in Saxony has taken ownership of two new mobile cranes from Liebherr. An LTM 1030-2.1 replaces a 13 year-old crane of the same type. And an LTM 1060/2 built in 2004 is replaced by a new LTM 1070-4.2. The company is now ready for the future with an upgraded crane fleet.

Une pelle sur chenilles Liebherr R 950 Tunnel est utilisée pour un des chantiers du Grand Paris Express. Dans le cadre de ce projet colossal, la pelle sur chenilles est active dans le puit 807 de la ligne 15 pour l’extraction à la fraise, la pose des cintres ainsi que certains travaux de reprise. D’un poids en ordre de marche 45 tonnes, la machine donne entière satisfaction au Groupe Alliance.

Three new Liebherr mobile cranes for Sommer and KLS

Sommer Kranverleih GmbH and the new, jointly founded company KLS Kran- und Schwerlast GmbH have added three more Liebherr mobile cranes to their fleet. An LTM 1070-4.2 and an LTM 1130-5.1 are stationed in Bremerhaven, an LTF 1045-4.1 in Bremen. An LTM 1450-8.1 has also been ordered and will be delivered in spring 2020.

The 256.5 metre Frankfurt Exhibition Centre Tower was the tallest building in Europe when it was completed in 1991. Now this landmark in the Main metropolis is being refurbished. On behalf of the facade specialist seele based in Gersthofen near Munich, the mobile crane team at BKL Frankfurt used Liebherr mobile cranes to install giant glass elements.

For wind power jobs – Liebherr LR 1500 crawler crane in action at Avtokran-Tjumen

Russian contractor OOO Avtokran-Tjumen placed an order for an LR 1500 crawler crane from Liebherr at the Bauma in April. That crane is now proving its strengths at the Adygeyskaya WES wind farm where it is erecting 2.5 MW wind turbines. The wind farm’s total power rating will be 150 MW.

A Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane featuring the innovative, highly flexible “V-frame” ballasting system has successfully completed its first jobs in the field. The 1000-tonne crane operated by Swiss crane logistics contractor Emil Egger AG used this hydraulically adjustable folding frame for the suspended ballast to complete a spectacular bridge hoist near Lausanne and also removed an old fire ship from the River Rhine in Basel. If the V-frame had not been used, these two crane jobs would only have been possible at significantly higher cost.
