Working with Liebherr Mining: an electrifying experience

Since the launch of its Zero Emission Mining Program in 2021, Liebherr Mining has embarked on a number of projects that explore how the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can help to reduce emissions. To ensure that Liebherr Mining has the most suitable people working on this project, one such recruit was Kareem Oubid, a high voltage (HV) electrician currently working with Liebherr-Australia in Western Australia to support and maintain electric-drive mining equipment.

La R 9300 Génération 8, la toute dernière pelle hydraulique de la gamme Liebherr Mining, est désormais disponible à la vente. Lors d’un test de performance concluant réalisé dans une mine en Indonésie, la R 9300 a démontré tout son potentiel en matière de productivité et d'efficacité dans des conditions réelles. Lorsque la machine entrera en production de série en 2024, elle remplacera la R 9250 sur le segment des pelles de 250 tonnes.

On behalf of science: Crane deployment at the Deutsches Museum with Maier-Landshut

As part of renovation work at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, a Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane has moved a 44-tonne impeller of a Francis turbine. The work was carried out by Kran-Maier GmbH & Co. KG from Landshut.

Dans le cadre du développement de l’ensemble des activités du Groupe, Liebherr-France SAS prévoit d'ouvrir en 2025 un nouveau site de production pour les composants mécanosoudés ainsi que pour les activités de pré-assemblage et de montage des cabines dans le parc industriel EcoRhena à Nambsheim (Alsace, France). Sur une surface d'environ 47 ha, Liebherr va investir 170 millions d'euros et créera plus de 300 emplois.

Guindastes Centro Oeste takes over first Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1230-5.1

The first Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 arrived in Brazil this month. Guindastes Centro Oeste’s new 230-tonne crane is the successor to the successful LTM 1200-5.1 and boasts one of the longest boom in its class, reaching a height of 75 meters. Additionally, the new 230-tonne crane offers, on average, 20% more lifting capacity than its predecessor. Equipped with VarioBase®, VarioBallast®, ECOmode, and ECOdrive technologies, this crane operates with maximum safety and efficiency.

The versatile Liebherr 5-axle crane impresses, among other things, with its long telescopic boom, high lifting capacities and the variable support base VarioBase®. Vivargo also sees Liebherr as a reliable partner in the areas of support and service. After the exhibition at the Chilean trade fair Expomin, the main areas of application for the new LTM 1150-5.3 at Vivargo will be in the mining and energy sectors.
