The Rostock-based company WarnowKran Kranservice GmbH took delivery of its first mobile construction crane, a Liebherr MK 88-4.1, at its recent family day. This gave customers, partners, and interested visitors the opportunity to experience the crane live on site. By purchasing the MK, the company is further expanding its position as a crane solutions provider within the Baltic Sea region.

Restored, not retired: Liebherr R 996 mining excavator overhauled for maximum service life

In late July, a fully refurbished R 996 excavator went to work at Yancoal’s Cameby Downs mine in Queensland, Australia. This machine had originally served at Yancoal’s Yarrabee mine for almost 13 years before the mining company made the decision to completely overhaul the machine.

New Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes to expand Milplan fleet

In June, two new Liebherr LRT 1100-2.1 cranes arrived in Brazil. These rough-terrain mobile cranes are part of Milplan’s fleet expansion project. In addition, a new LTR 1100, a 100-tonne class telescopic crawler crane from Liebherr, completes Milplan’s order. These machines will be used for construction operations and electromechanical assembly projects, pipeline construction, maintenance shutdowns in mining, steel, energy, as well as the oil and gas industries.

The Liebherr R 9300 makes its Australian debut

The first Liebherr R 9300 mining excavator to hit Australian soil was commissioned in late August at the Karlawinda Gold Project, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MACA – a global contractor that works within the mining, construction, and process engineering sectors – is excited to welcome this machine to its growing Liebherr excavator fleet.

Liebherr deploys autonomous haulage fleet for onsite validation

Having completed comprehensive internal validation of their Autonomous Haulage Solution (AHS) at Liebherr’s Mining Technology Development Centre in the USA, Liebherr Mining has announced that it has deployed a fleet of four T 264 trucks to support onsite validation. This onsite validation marks a new stage of Liebherr’s strategy to accelerate development of a new autonomy product for the mining industry.

Avec la L 580 LogHandler XPower®, Liebherr propose une chargeuse sur pneus spéciale pour l'industrie du bois. Liebherr a récemment rénové ce modèle et réalisé de nombreuses optimisations, notamment sur le bras de levage et les pinces, afin d'améliorer la manutention de grumes. Un modèle de la dernière génération est en service depuis six mois à Rohrbach an der Lafnitz, en Autriche, dans l'entreprise familiale Rubner Holzindustrie. La chargeuse leur a dans un premier temps été confiée pour une mission d'essai de plusieurs mois afin de tester les nouveautés de la L 580 LogHandler XPower® pour l'usine Liebherr de Bischofshofen. La chargeuse sur pneus spéciale de Liebherr a convaincu sur toute la ligne, si bien que Rubner Holzindustrie a immédiatement décidé de l'acheter.
