Outstanding design quality: XPower wheel loader receives Red Dot Design Award 2016

Liebherr is awarded the Red Dot Award 2016 for its new L 550 to L 586 XPower® wheel loaders in the “Product Design” category. The award was announced by the top-ranking jury of experts at the Red Dot gala, which was held on Monday in Essen (Germany). The intelligent, functional design of the XPower wheel loaders won over the jurors.

Liebherr recently completed the first delivery of an LTM mobile crane to Cuba. Womy Rental construction machinery and crane rental company took delivery of the 5-axle LTM 1220-5.2. The crane is destined for long-term use in an ENIMCAR mine in Santa Lucía which extracts minerals for the production of lead and zinc.

A new-build Russian Orthodox church is being built in the centre of Paris not far from the Eiffel Tower. A total of five domes covered with gold leaf will crown the structure on its completion.
