Groupe Luc Durand : une pelle sur chenilles Liebherr R 956 à l’œuvre dans la carrière de Voutré

The currently largest duty cycle crawler crane type HS 8300 HD from Liebherr is presently carrying out dredging work in Piombino. The aim of the project is to remove deposited sediment from the mouth of the port and also to increase the depth of the water. For this purpose the hybrid duty cycle crawler crane is equipped with a hydraulic clamshell grab with a filling capacity of 22 m³.

Special use for hydraulic cylinders: The bridge crushers

Researchers at the Technical University (TU) of Munich have developed a new test stand for concrete bridge beams. In order to better calculate the load-carrying capacity of these beams in the future, six hydraulic cylinders from Liebherr Components are used to press down with full force on the element until it breaks. The collected data helps in developing new, leaner constructions from ultra-high-performance concrete. Yet, above all, it could also help rescue thousands of existing bridges.

Liebherr mobile crane lifts military history exhibit

Rieger & Moser GmbH & Co. KG from Ulm marked the end of a Sikorsky CH-53's life of service with a special deployment. A Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane lifted the restored helicopter onto pre-prepared concrete supports. This exhibition piece will in future welcome visitors to the Kurt Georg Kiesinger Barracks in Laupheim.

L’engin a été dévoilé par le personnel lors d’une cérémonie organisée sur le site de production.

La société Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH, le site historique du Groupe Liebherr, a livré sa 75 000e pelle, un événement que l’entreprise et ses 1700 collaborateurs et collaboratrices ont bien entendu célébré. L’engin a été dévoilé par le personnel lors d’une cérémonie organisée sur le site de production. Pour l’occasion, la pelle sur pneus A 918 Compact Litronic a été décorée par un graffiti élaboré spécialement par Claudia Walde, alias MadC, une artiste mondialement connue. La pelle sur pneus compacte rejoindra le parc d’engins de Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH, spécialisé dans la location de machines en Allemagne.

Rothmund boosts crane fleet with three mobile cranes from Liebherr

Rothmund GmbH Kran und Montage has extended its crane fleet within the past few months with two Liebherr mobile cranes, an LTM 1030-2.1 and LTM 1350-6.1, as well as a Liebherr telescopic crawler crane LTR 1100. Rothmund set great store by the equipment of the two mobile cranes with the VarioBase®variable support system. These enable Liebherr cranes to deliver increased capacity, thereby making them even safer and more flexible to use.
