Four Liebherr Board Offshore Cranes for oil platforms in Azerbaijan

Being an offshore crane of the latest generation, the Liebherr BOS crane represents state-of-the-art technology and is the right choice for applications requiring high lifting capacities at medium or high outreaches. Four new cranes of the BOS-series will serve these requirements in 2021 on two offshore platforms in Azerbaijan. The Umid Babek Operating Company (UBOC) was not only impressed by the performance of the crane, but also by the Liebherr service competence and local service network.

Montecon S.A. order two Liebherr electric rubber tyre gantry cranes (ERTG)

Montecon S.A. at the Port of Montevideo, Uruguay have placed an order with Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. for two large electric rubber tyre gantry cranes. The machines are the first Liebherr RTGs in Uruguay. Stacking ten containers and a truck lane wide and one over six containers high, the ERTGs are ideal for maximising space utilisation as the port optimises an RTG operation that includes reefer handling.

Depuis mai 2018, dix grues à tour High-Top 1000 EC-H 40 de très grande capacité prennent place sur les chantiers du Grand Paris. La 1000 EC-H 40 est le plus gros modèle de grue à tour Liebherr en opération en France. « Ces interventions sont très intéressantes. Si le marché de grue à tour français demande en général des capacités de charge de 12 t à 16 t, la demande sur les chantiers du Grand Paris se tourne désormais vers des machines de plus de 25 tonnes de capacité. Ces grues géantes servent à la manutention des voussoirs dans une logique de cadence industrielle de production », Christophe Zimmermann, Directeur Général Liebherr Grues à Tour France.

Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 places cupola on Berlin’s Humboldt Forum

An LTM 1500-8.1 owned by Mobi-Hub completed a job in the centre of Berlin in front of a large crowd – the Liebherr crane placed the magnificent cupola on the new Humboldt Forum. The historically reconstructed cupola is decorated with eight angel figures and palm leaves, as well as a lantern and a golden cross. The reconstruction of the destroyed Berlin Palace has been undertaken to restore Berlin’s historic cityscape.

Liebherr lifting space components at Port Canaveral

A special modified LHM 600 at Port Canaveral marks the largest mobile harbour crane in the U.S. to handle all types of heavy cargo, including space components. The machine features a maximum lifting capacity of up to 154 tonnes and 58 metres boom reach. A special double layer winch in combination with a high-rise configuration allows a maximum lifting height of up to 70 meters.

The first ten units of this highly flexible crawler crane, which can be modified for lots of different sectors, have already been delivered to business partners in Spain, the USA and Asia. Liebherr livre la 100 000ème bétonnière portée

Liebherr a remis au printemps 2020 la 100 000ème bétonnière portée. Il s’agit d'une HTM 905, qui a été réceptionnée par l’entreprise Heinz Transportbeton Ingolstadt GmbH & Co KG. La direction de l’entreprise Heinz s’est rendue personnellement à l’usine Liebherr de Bad Schussenried pour cette remise particulière.

1000th Liebherr 81 K.1 fast-erecting crane delivered

At the end of June, Liebherr’s Tower Crane Division delivered its 1000th 81 K.1 since its launch back in 2016. The crane continues the successful run of the K series, particularly that of its predecessor, the 81 K. The Liebherr fast-erecting crane went to a family-run business in Ruhpolding, Bavaria. For Mayer Hoch – und Tiefbau GmbH, this is the third fast-erecting crane of its type and the fourteenth Liebherr tower crane in total.

Liebherr révise les systèmes de conditionnement d’air des tramways parisiens

Liebherr-Transportation Systems a été sélectionnée par le groupe RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens) pour réviser et réparer 284 systèmes de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation (HVAC) pour les tramways parisiens. Les travaux de révision et de maintenance seront effectués dans le nouvel atelier de réparation de Liebherr, au nord de Paris, jusqu’en décembre 2021.

Mobile crane fleet always state of the art – BKL takes delivery of new LTM 1350-6.1

BKL Baukran Logistik GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane. This is the third crane of this type in the company’s fleet. The new purchase will support BKL’s strategy of keeping its mobile crane fleet up with the state of the art. Currently, its fleet has an average age of around just 3.5 years.

Liebherr présente la nouvelle A 922 Rail Litronic de classe d'émission de gaz d'échappement phase V. En tant que machine rail-route, l’A 922 Rail est utilisée à la fois sur les voies ferrées et dans la construction routière et peut être déplacée rapidement grâce au châssis sur pneus. Des deux côtés du châssis se trouve un mécanisme de translation, qui ramène les pneus au niveau des rails. Les roues intérieures des essieux jumelés assurent l'entraînement sur les rails.

Sönke Jordt expands range of services with a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane

North German crane and heavy haulage contractor Sönke Jordt GmbH & Co. KFG has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane. The new 300 tonne crane will help to expand the range of services offered by the fleet. The new purchase marks the company’s entry into the large crane class.
