Pour le prolongement d'un tunnel de la Gornergrat-Bahn à Zermatt, dans le canton suisse du Valais, la grue télescopique LTR 1060 de Liebherr a dû aborder des virages étroits et des côtes escarpées présentant un pourcentage pouvant atteindre jusqu'à 40 % afin de se rendre sur le chantier situé à 2020 mètres d'altitude. L'équipe parfaitement rodée de la société Clausen Kran AG, les conseils techniques fournis au préalable par Liebherr et des grues sur chenilles d'une technique irréprochable sont autant de facteurs qui ont permis de mener à bien ce trajet extrêmement périlleux.
Et Geri Clausen, très satisfait de sa grue télescopique sur chenilles de Liebherr, de déclarer : « Nous pourrons utiliser cette grue tout-terrain de façon optimale sur de nombreux chantiers. »
