For our global Quality Management at the location in Ochsenhausen we are looking for a Manager Quality Suppliers (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall quality function for all external suppliers / supplier parts globally (including quality supplier functions at all locations of the division)
- Division-wide responsibility for quality supplier processes and methods
- Responsibility for the release (or blockage) of suppliers and individual parts delivered by external suppliers
- Monitoring of quality development of suppliers using KPIs and feedback from factories and development
- Conducting quality discussions with suppliers to review and improve the quality situation
- Division-wide planning and coordination of supplier audits
- Tracking/effectiveness assessment of measures to be implemented resulting from supplier audits carried out
- Supporting the organization in the selection of new suppliers
Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable qualification through appropriate professional experience
- 5+ years’ experience in supplier quality management function
- Strong leadership and communication skills in a manufacturing environment
- Qualified Auditor (e.g. VDA 6.3)
- In depth knowledge and experience of supplier quality tools and techniques
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Open to travel abroad
