Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. was first incorporated as a company in 1981 and shortly after this time the new head office complex in Adelaide (South Australia) was built. Since then the company has expanded considerably with offices throughout the country. Today Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. sells and supports a range of Liebherr products in Australia and New Zealand including mobile and crawler cranes, offshore cranes, tower cranes, deep foundation machines, earthmoving and mining equipment. Furthermore Liebherr has got a distributor which sells and supports refrigeration and freezing appliances.
In addition to the sales and services offered, the Adelaide, Perth, Mackay and Mt Thorley sites are home to bucket manufacturing and bucket repair facilities. The company also operates a national distribution centre and a remanufacturing centre. Both are established to provide industry best practise standards of remanufactured components and parts for our customer’s fleets.
In order to maintain the highest level of service, Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. has a presence in eight locations across Australia and three more in New Zealand.
The head office of Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. has been situated at the current Para Hills West (Adelaide) location since 1983. Along with the administration building, the complex also comprises a 30,000m2 remanufacturing and national distribution centre. The centres allow for complete control of processes and are being established to provide industry best practise standards of remanufactured components and parts for our customers’ fleets. The complex is also home to a 3,500m2 production department and major mining bucket manufacture and repair facility.

In these Terms:
us, we, our means Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd ACN 007 970 452 and its related bodies corporates or associated entities (within the meaning of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)).
you, your means the person supplying goods or services to us.
goods means the equipment, parts or other material ordered by us from you from time to time.
services means any work of any nature whatsoever that you perform for us.
You and we agree that:
1. only these Terms apply to this contract of purchase and sale entered into by us with you unless otherwise agreed in writing. By accepting an order from us or delivering goods or services to us you are deemed to have accepted these Terms;
2. we may amend or cancel our order at any time before delivery and will not be liable for any cost incurred by you as a result of any such amendment or cancellation and will be entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid to you;
3. goods must be packed in accordance with our instructions or, if there are no instructions, they must be safely and securely packed in accordance with normal commercial practice;
4. you must deliver the goods or services to us by the date, and at the place, set out in our order;
5. unless our order states otherwise, the goods must be delivered free-in-store;
6. all deliveries must be accompanied by a delivery note setting out our order number, a description of the goods and the quantity of goods supplied;
7. goods must be new (unless otherwise specified on our order), of merchantable quality, fit for their purpose, free from defects, strictly conform to our specifications and comply with all applicable laws and recognised industry standards (including Australian Standards);
8. you warrant that you have full unencumbered title in the goods and in any materials incorporated in the goods and all such goods are supplied free of all liens, charges or other security interests;
9. you warrant that the supply of the goods will not give rise to any infringement of any intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks and copyright;
10. acceptance of the goods or services occurs if we do not notify you that the goods or services do not comply with these Terms (or any other terms specified on our order) within 21 days of delivery;
11. you will, at your cost, promptly replace any goods or rectify any services which do not comply with these Terms (or any other terms specified on our order) at any time up to 12 months after delivery even if we have accepted them;
12. title to, and risk in, the goods passes to us when we accept the goods;
13. the price for goods and /or services (including all taxes) is that which we were last notified of in writing before we placed the order;
14. if we accept the goods or services we will pay the price for the goods or services within 45 days after the end of the month in which your invoice is rendered;
15. we can deduct or set-off against any amount we owe you any amount you owe us and we can withhold payment for any goods or services which do not comply with these Terms even if we have accepted them;
16. you shall be liable and compensate us for loss or damage of any kind (including direct, indirect and consequential loss and damage of business revenue, loss of profits, failure to realise expected profits or savings or other commercial or economic loss of any kind and legal costs on a solicitor client basis), however caused arising out of or in any way related to the goods, the inability to use the goods fully or at all, or failure or delay in delivery of the whole or any instalment of the goods;
17. should we be in default of this agreement our liability will be limited to the payment of the purchase price for the accepted goods or services and you release us from and we will not be liable for any claim for loss or damage of any kind (including legal costs, direct, indirect and consequential loss and damage of business revenue, loss of profits, failure to realise expected profits or savings or other commercial or economic loss of any kind), however caused arising out of our default;
18. you cannot transfer your rights responsibilities or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. You must not grant any security interest in any goods supplied or to be supplied under these Terms and must not purport to register any such interest on the Personal Property Security Register, as established under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth);
19. we may terminate this contract of purchase and sale immediately if you breach any part of these Terms (or any other terms specified on our order) or if you become insolvent within the meaning of section 95A of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (as amended or replaced from time to time);
20. if you comprise more than one person, these Terms bind you jointly and severally;
21. time is of the essence in the performance by you of your obligations under these Terms;
22. these Terms prevail over any terms you seek to impose on the order for goods or services or otherwise;
23. these Terms are in addition to any rights we may have at law, in equity or under statute;
24. we may amend or replace these Terms at any time by notice to you;
25. these Terms will not be construed against us merely because we prepared them;
26. these Terms (together with any other terms specified on our order) set out the whole agreement between you and us relating to the goods or services and are governed by the laws of South Australia; and
27. you will submit to the jurisdiction of South Australian courts for any proceedings arising out of these Terms.

Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. offers customers a rewarding solution to meet safety regulation based on the Australian Standards with its optimised scope of work for performing a Major Inspection on mobile cranes. The scope has been designed in corporation with the factory, Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH in Germany and focuses strongly on highest safety but also an adequate down time of the crane. The expert technicians of the Liebherr team in Australia use Liebherr genuine parts and advanced diagnostic tools specially designed and manufactured for Liebherr mobile cranes in order to ensure highest safety.

Liebherr Component Repair and Exchange Programs provide a timely and cost effective service to Customers on selected major components by providing full service, repair, and replacement options to customers. These can range from straightforward component replacement, through to complete OEM-level rebuilds.

Liebherr-Australia Hose Production has been manufacturing high pressure hose assemblies in the Adelaide head office complex since 1999, and is situated in our 12,000m2 state-of-the-art national distribution centre facility with a dedicated assembly production team.
The facility has dedicated lines for its low/medium and high pressure manufacturing, feeding into the 8 inch diameter, 450 tonne crimp force press; with the additional capability to test hose assemblies up to 1,500 bar in the 5m dual-bed test bench. This testing capability supports stringent Liebherr-Australia and MDG 41 requirements.
To protect your investment and maintain the performance of your machinery, Liebherr-Australia delivers replacement parts designed to meet the engineering specifications of the equipment.
Liebherr-Australia provides:
Liebherr-Australia designs, develops and carries out rigorous testing in our Adelaide manufacturing facility. Initial designs are developed in-house and then tested at our research facilities, with all fittings designed and developed in accordance with relevant international standards.
Hose assembly designs are tested and accredited to internationally recognised specifications. We test assemblies at up to 1500 bar (14500psi), which far exceed normal operating pressures. The machines test up to 2” 6 wire hose assemblies.
Static testing is carried out on individual hose assemblies prior to supply. These are tested to the relevant pressure specific to the hose type. Test certificates are available upon request.
All hoses are designed and manufactured to suit specified applications; our custom built hoses take into account the following factors:
Liebherr-Mining Operations in Adelaide achieved successful certification by an independent certification body (BSI) to ISO9001:2008 at the end of 2015 and was registered as a certified company in February 2016, which included the hydraulic hose assembly operations. This certification reinforces the Liebherr Core Value of ‘Quality in everything we do’, and provides added value for our customers.
During the introduction of ISO9001, the hydraulic hose assembly operations also adopted the requirements of MDG41 in a comprehensive, risk-based and systematic manner. The hose assembly operations and associated systems form part of the stringent independent internal process and quality audit process managed by the quality assurance department, with the aim of ensuring technical and work standard compliance.
The Hose Manufacturing Department is structured to have a systematic risk-based approach to the assembly operations, with control points built into ensure the quality at key stages with records to demonstrate. All materials received and used in the assembly operations are supplied by the OEM factories. A rigorous supplier quality management process in place to ensure Liebherr-Australia receives raw material that comply to the Liebherr, customer and other international technical requirements before being used for assembly operations.
MDG41 3.7.6.5 - Quality Plan
The process of hose manufacture, from raw materials shall comply with ISO Standards 9001, 9002 and shall be batch tested for conformance and recorded. The hose end assembly manufacture should hold third party accreditation.

MDG41 3.7.6.6 - Competence
Persons fabricating hose assemblies shall be competent and trained in the proper use of equipment, materials, assembly procedures and testing. People should be assessed in their competence for hose assembly and the assessment should be recorded.

MDG41 3.7.6.7 - Cleaning & Packaging
Hose assemblies should be supplied free from water, debris, metal shavings, dirt or any other foreign material. A cleaning projectile should be shot through the hose assembly in both directions. End connections should be sealed and capped to maintain cleanliness.
Hose assemblies should be packaged such that external abuse during shipping, handling and storage does not damage the hose or fittings.
