Liebherr USA, Co. exhibits at World of Asphalt 2025

The 2025 World of Asphalt show and conference will take place in St. Louis, Missouri from March 25-27, 2025. Liebherr’s earthmoving product specialists will be on-site showcasing the L 566 XPower wheel loader, TA 230 articulated dump truck, and R 914 compact crawler excavator.

The World of Asphalt tradeshow and conference is the leading asphalt industry event with 430 exhibitors. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the newest technology, advance their knowledge in education sessions, and network with industry peers.

L 566 XPower Wheel loader

Liebherr’s L 566 XPower wheel loader offer impressive levels of productivity and versatility that equip operators to successfully handle aggregate, asphalt, and pavement projects. The XPower machine concept combines performance, fuel efficiency, robustness, and comfort. With capabilities that provide two types of drives inside a unique machine design, hydrostatic and mechanical, operators are able to have faster work cycles, carry heavy material loads, and take advantage of arm variations.

TA 230 articulated dump truck

The first articulated dump truck for the North American market, Liebherr’s TA 230 provides power, robustness, and efficiency for rugged off-road use. Equipped with an automatic 8-speed powershift transmission and a D956 diesel engine, the TA 230’s machine body is designed for easy maintenance. With service points that are easy to access from a standing area and features a smart machine check-up that automatically runs a series of tests providing operators an ease-of-mind before operation. With a range of assistance systems, operators will find enhanced safety, productivity, and support through Liebherr’s weighing unit, automatic traction control, hill start assistance, speed maintenance assistant, hard stop, and height lift limitations.

The angled bonnet design for the TA 230 offers the best visibility while offering easy access to the 6-cylinder engine with 12-liter displacement and 265 kW / 360 HP to stage V emission standards. The TA 230 can reach a top speed of 35 mph forward and 10 mph in reverse.

R 914 compact crawler excavator

The smallest crawler excavator, the R 914 compact is desirable for narrow projects and job sites like urban applications and on motorways. Built on a X-frame undercarriage and is equipped with a US EPA Tier 4 Final engine with SCR system and diesel oxidation catalyst, this compact excavator offers powerful and precise capabilities. The R 914 offers a longer lifespan, variety of tools and teeth, a short tail swing radius of 1.55 m that focuses on safety for the operator and the machine.
