The Liebherr Group is attending the Expomin 2014 international trade show for the mining industry in Santiago, Chile, from April 21-25. Liebherr exhibits can be found on the stands 55 A and 50 A, where the company’s latest construction and mining machinery technology will be presented.
The main exhibit from Liebherr’s mining product range is the T 264 mining truck. The truck’s gross vehicle weight is 433 ton / 393 t. The truck has a maximum payload of 251 ton / 228 t and engine output rating up to 2,700 HP / 2,013 kW. The fuel-efficient T 264 is built for safety and reliability and combines a Litronic Plus AC drive system and a high-power engine to yield higher speeds and promote superior productivity.
Exhibits from Liebherr’s tower cranes and mobile cranes product ranges are the flat-top tower crane 85 EC-B5 FR.tronic, as well as selected crawler cranes like the LTR 1220 and the all-terrain mobile crane LTM 1130-5.1. From the earthmoving product area Liebherr presents the PR 754 Litronic dozer and the R 916 crawler excavator.
Expomin 2014 is one of the most important trade shows for the global mining industry. More than 1,600 exhibitors from over 35 countries are represented. The trade show is likely to attract approximately 80,000 international visitors.

Considerate and flexible: two Liebherr NC-B cranes at work in Sai Kung
A new residential development is under construction in Ho Chung, Sai Kung. Foundation and excavation and lateral support works have been underway since December 2024 and are expected to continue until end of 2026. Two Liebherr NC-B 12-70 tower cranes are handling material logistics on the confined site.
