On, in and around the crane: Focus on safety
Up, up and away:
Stay safe at height.
Access ladders, handles and railings protect crane personnel working at height. Furthermore, personal protective equipment is supplied with every one of our cranes.
All the erection procedures are designed so that they can be completed safely.
Simple and convenient
Safe ballast handling.
We develop a ballast concept to match every crane model based on safety and efficiency. On cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 300 tonnes, the ballasting process takes place quickly and easily from the crane cab using keyhole technology.
On our larger mobile cranes, ballast slabs can be positioned easily and safely on the base plate of the counterweight frame. They are compatible with many different crane models which is a great advantage for fleet operators with multiple Liebherr mobile cranes.
Fast extension:
Safe attachment of the folding jib.
The folding jib is attached to our LTM, LTR and LTF model safely and conveniently using the hydraulic set-up tool and the BTT remote control. The folding jib can also be attached to our all-terrain cranes safely and conveniently using the hydraulic set-up tool and a wired remote control. At the same time a mechanical bar provides additional safety.
The benefit of this is that the crane operator can see everything all the time.
Child’s play:
Automated raising of the luffing jib.
The luffing jib is raised by a user-friendly automatic system. This relieves the strain on the crane operator and enhances safety.
