A Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 mobile crane had to complete several hoists at Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz to erect and remove works of art weighing several tonnes. Eurogruas 2000 took delivery of the first new Liebherr LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane at the Bauma 2019. The 800-tonne crawler crane, the largest exhibit at the entire trade show, was delivered to the Spanish crane contractor immediately after the end of the Bauma event. Eurogruas 2000 purchased the new crane primarily for hoisting heavy loads. Its first job will be at a refinery in Portugal.

First crawler crane for HKV - Liebherr LR 1500 expands fleet

HKV Schmitz + Partner GmbH has purchased the first crawler crane in the history of the company. Liebherr officially handed over the new LR 1500 to the crane rental company in March at its Cologne site. Its low cost transportation and fast set-up time were the main criteria behind the decision to buy the 500-tonne crawler crane. The overall concept of the LR 1500 is designed for simplicity and great economy in every respect.
