In with the new! Employer films celebrate premiere at Bauma

Last year Liebherr shot several films for its new image as an employer. Not released up to now, the clips celebrated their premiere today at Bauma and were shown to the public for the first time – on a screen measuring 87 square metres, twelve metres wide and seven metres high.

Liebherr at Bauma 2019: Impressing with today’s innovations, fascinating with solutions for the construction site of the future

Bauma 2019 came to an end a few minutes ago. In keeping with tradition, the final chord of the trade fair was sounded with the honking of horns. The construction machines and mining equipment at the outdoor Liebherr stand also joined in the concert of honking horns.

Liebherr meets Lego

Liebherr and Lego have several things in common: Both companies must work on their products with great precision, every single detail must complement each other. What else links these two big names? The passion for technology and the enthusiasm of the fans for the range of products. That’s why Lego can also be found again at this year’s Bauma.

“Together. Now & Tomorrow.” for children: Play & Build

Play & Build is the trade fair stand initiative for younger Bauma visitors. Children can learn about the topic construction and the future in a playful and fun manner. How do children imagine their towns and cities in the future? Buildings, streets and entire cities of the future are made from modelling clay at the Liebherr booth.

With university students at Bauma in Munich

Liebherr was able to welcome 125 university groups during this year's Bauma to its stand. In addition to coming from regional partner universities, like the Kempten University of Applied Sciences, other students traveled much further, coming from as far away as France and Czech Republic, to visit Liebherr at Bauma.

Visualising "Together. Now & Tomorrow.": Spin & Vision

What will actually be relevant in the future? At the Spin & Vision activity at the Liebherr booth visitors can link the three terms, which are the most important for them now and in the future. The more buzzwords that are linked in the course of the day, the more consolidated the network of terms.

Delegation from Ehingen visits Liebherr at Bauma

On Friday, a delegation from Ehingen in Baden-Württemberg visited Bauma. The representatives from politics and the media were particularly interested in the trade fair appearances of the companies based locally in Ehingen and obtained information about their products and innovations. The Liebherr booth with its mobile cranes from the Ehingen site was the first port of call during the tour.

Experience Liebherr tower cranes with virtual reality

In the VR Pavilion at the Liebherr stand Bauma visitors can be transported to a virtual construction site: They move around in the computer-generated reality and operate the tower cranes with the help of VR glasses and controllers. Customers can also design their own crane: with their own logos and colours.

Minister of State Reichhart visits Liebherr at Bauma

As Minister of State in the Bavarian Ministry for Housing, Building and Transport, Bauma is also an important information hub for Dr. Hans Reichhart. He took the opportunity to visit Liebherr during his tour of the trade fair.

Liebherr celebrates Bauma Canada evening

On April 11, Liebherr-Canada hosted the Bauma Canada evening in the “Münchner Stubn” restaurant in Munich. Within the scope of a casual evening, Liebherr has invited its customers and employees to experience a get-together with traditional German food, drinks and music in an informal atmosphere.

Liebherr 42 M5 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump: Handover of first series model

The 42 M5 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump is one of Liebherr's numerous world premières at Bauma. Liebherr even handed over the first series model of the machine at the trade fair. The key was handed over to the long-standing customer Betonpumpenunion in Ulm.

On 12 April 2019, the SPD parliamentary group visited Liebherr at Bauma in Munich and spoke to family shareholders Patricia Rüf and Stéfanie Wohlfahrt.

Industrial mechanic or international business? With the interactive careers advisor "Talent & Future" school leavers can find out what specialisation and career opportunity best suits them.

Liebherr wins ESTA Award

On April 11th the winners of the ESTA Awards of Excellence in different categories were announced in Munich. Liebherr won the category Safety for the innovative Single Line Guiding System (SLGS). The SLGS makes the installation process of wind turbine blades safer, more economical and in many cases also greener.

Young talent counts!

On the fourth day of Bauma, Michael Piazolo, the Bavarian Minister of State for Education and Culture, visited the Liebherr education stand and shared his views with our trainees on such topics as vocational training and studies. His clear message: Young talent counts!

Liebherr: Handover of L 580 XPower with wheel loader assist system package to Breitsamer

At Bauma, Liebherr handed over a L 580 XPower to Breitsamer Entsorgung Recycling GmbH, which is located in Munich. The wheel loader is equipped with a range of intelligent assist systems, which celebrate their première at Bauma.

Mayors of the city of Biberach visit Liebherr at Bauma

On the third day of Bauma, representatives of the Swabian city of Biberach (Riss) visited the Liebherr Group at Bauma. Dr. h.c. Dipl.-Ing. Willi Liebherr welcomed Mayor Norbert Zeidler and First Mayor Ralf Miller at the Liebherr booth. The Biberach site is one of the oldest production sites of the Liebherr Group.
