- Determining test environments and planning test operations
- Calibrating as well as testing of tools and performing simulations
- Carrying out competitive and structural analyses and monitoring development trends
- Initiating and managing of development projects or collaborating in a team of experts
- New developments or optimization of existing constructions and systems, taking into account functional requirements, costs and quality
- Performing calculations and analyzing the results
- Coordinating and collaborating with internal specialist departments
- Developing product design based on global standards, e.g. safety standards, legal requirements, standards
- Designing components including list of parts, project drawings or software specifications

Possible competencies you will use in this area section:
- Higher education or academic degree (Master of Science or Bachelor) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, informatics or similar
- Good English language skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge and experience in project management
- Structured and team-oriented way of working (Team spirit)
- Technical knowledge about different technologies, tools and methods
- Product knowledge
- Programming skills depending on the applications (e.g. SPS, C, C++, C#, Python, SQL, Java)
- Adept in CAD and testing Software
