IFA 2024: Liebherr demonstrates its pioneering spirit with numerous innovations

75 years of Liebherr meet 100 years of IFA. Over the years, Liebherr-Hausgeräte has developed into a specialist for refrigeration and freezing in the premium segment – and the brand plans to celebrate the double anniversary with remarkable new products. The focus will be on pioneering BluRoX technology, long-term energy efficiency in the highest classes, and the expansion of the unrivalled Liebherr range to include new French door appliances and sophisticated design highlights. From 6 to 10 September 2024, the fresh innovations will be presented to IFA visitors at stand number 102 in hall 2.1.

First Liebherr mobile crane – KönningKrane takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1160-5.2

KönningKrane GmbH & Co KG from Stadtlohn in the north-west of North Rhine-Westphalia has bought its first Liebherr mobile crane – an LTM 1160-5.2 with a maximum lifting capacity of 180 tonnes extends its crane range towards higher capacities. Its high performance and width of just 2.75 metres were important factors behind the decision.

Liebherr presents solutions for aviation at Farnborough International Airshow 2024

Liebherr mobile crane impresses at Formac with precision, safety and outstanding handling characteristics

In recent months, Formac, S.A., a manufacturer of precast concrete elements in the Spanish province of Ciudad Real, has been working with one of the first delivered examples of the new LTM 1110-5.2 mobile crane. The LICCON3-controlled machine in the new design has already impressed the provider of turnkey industrial halls with its excellent performance as well as its outstanding driving characteristics on the road. High lifting capacities, precision and safety were the decisive criteria for Formac when purchasing its newest mobile crane.

Reinforcement in Milan – Polita Autogru takes delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2

Milan-based crane specialist Polita Autogru Srl. has taken delivery of a new Liebherr mobile crane – with a 78-metre telescopic boom and a maximum lifting height of 114 metres, the LTM 1300-6.2 covers all the requirements in the northern Italian metropolis perfectly. The 300-tonne crane has already shown its worth at its first crane jobs.

Power trio at HEIS: Liebherr earthmoving machines at work

HEIS – Hargreaves-EWT Industrieservices GmbH – uses powerful earthmoving machinery from Liebherr for handling slag, soil stones and minerals. Alongside mining trucks and material handling excavators, XPower wheel loaders load material for crushers, screening plants and trucks. 70 tonnes at an altitude of 150 metres: Hofmann's LR 1800-1.0 assembles wind turbines in Prüm

Two 5.7 MW Nordex wind turbines were erected on a former military site in the Bitburg-Prüm district. The partner for these complicated lifts was the crane company Hofmann based in Paderborn (part of the Bracht Group). The two N163 5.7 turbines with a hub height of 160 metres were erected by the brand-new Liebherr LR 1800-1.0 lattice boom crawler crane at the end of May 2024.

Liebherr-Aerospace expands its service capacities in the USA

Liebherr-Aerospace Saline, Inc. is expanding its industrial campus in Michigan (USA) and celebrated recently the groundbreaking with invited guests, the Management, and over 300 employees. With the new building the company will be able to meet the growing customers’ demand for MRO services covering the Liebherr products that are on board a wide variety of commercial aircraft and business jets.

Great flexibility and a large radius – Tamás és Zsolt Kft. takes delivery of LTM 1650-8.1

Tamás és Zsolt Kft. has added an LTM 1650-8.1 to its fleet to meet the increasing demand for cranes in the 700-tonne class. The 8-axle vehicle has a nominal lifting capacity of 700 tonnes, features VarioBallast®, is suitable for global mobility and can reach hoisting heights of 151 metres – making it suitable for the increasing demands placed on crane operations.

New LTM 1090-4.2 added to Rolf Herbold GmbH’s crane fleet

Rolf Herbold GmbH has purchased a new addition to its fleet, an LTM 1090-4.2, to replace a 15-year-old 5-axle crane. This is the response by the Swabian mobile crane and working platform rental company to the increasingly narrow roads in new development areas because the new mobile crane is just 2.55 metres wide.

The Liebherr R 992 crawler excavator: high performance and low emissions at CMSE

CMSE (Carrières & Matériaux Sud-Est) uses the R 992 crawler excavator to extract rocks at its quarry at Saint-Pons-de-Thomières (France).
