Liebherr Wins Contract for Air Conditioning Equipment for Stuttgart’s S-Bahn

Liebherr-Transportation Systems will deliver air conditioning systems for ten Bombardier ET 430 series trains for the S-Bahn in Stuttgart (Germany).

Liebherr erects tower crane at an altitude of 225 metres

A Liebherr tower crane was erected on Baden-Württemberg's tallest building, the elevator test tower in Rottweil, with the aid of a 280 EC-H 12 Litronic. The 280 EC-H 12 Litronic with a hook height of 265 metres will now be supported by an 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic. Together the two Liebherr cranes will ensure excellent load handling on the site.

Hanchang Heavy Equipment Co., one of the largest crane contractors in South Korea, officially took delivery of a new Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane in mid-December 2015. At the same time Hanchang unveiled the 1000-tonne lattice boom crane to its customers and partners on its site in Ulsan. The new crane will supplement Hanchang's existing fleet of crawler cranes between the Liebherr LR 1750 and LR 11350 machines. Hanchang's reasons for buying the LR 11000 include its outstanding load capacities in all configurations and the very compact design of the Liebherr 1,000-tonne machine.

Provisional figures show total sales revenue of € 9,248 million for the Liebherr Group in 2015. That is the highest revenue that the Group has ever achieved in its history. Year on year, it represents an increase of € 425 million or 4.8%.
