New major investment at Liebherr in Kirchdorf: Ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the new logistics centre for production

Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH starts a new investment in the future in Kirchdorf an der Iller, thus strengthening the development of the original location of the overall Liebherr Group. The first construction phase of the logistics centre for production started on 11 June 2018 with an official ground-breaking ceremony. Liebherr will invest a total of around 35 million euros in the project. The project is planned to be completed at the end of 2020.

Liebherr R 950 Demolition crawler excavator masters demolition of Nuremberg post office building

Construction company Reithelshöfer carried out the demolition of Nuremberg’s old post office building. The company’s new Liebherr R 950 Demolition crawler excavator was involved in improving the road layout around Nuremberg's central station. Achema trade fair in Frankfurt: Premiere for Liebherr

In the middle of June at the Frankfurt-based trade fair Achema Liebherr showcases innovative fridges and freezers especially for use in the laboratory sector. Products from the current range of commercial fridges and freezers from the Domestic Appliances division are also presented to the visitors.

Liebherr premieres at Ugol Rossii & Mining 2018

At Ugol Rossii & Mining 2018, Liebherr presents the diesel engine series D98 for the first time to the Russian market. From June 5 to 8, the Liebherr Components division will be showcasing the first cylinder configuration of the engine series - the D9812 - specially designed to fulfil the toughest working conditions in the mining industry.

Al Faris takes delivery of the first Liebherr LRT rough-terrain cranes in the Middle East

Al Faris Equipment Rentals took delivery of two new Liebherr rough-terrain cranes at its company headquarters in Dubai in April – an LRT 1090-2.1 and an LRT 1100-2.1. These are the first of the new Liebherr series to enter use in the Middle East. They are part of a major order from Al Faris for a total of 27 Liebherr cranes which will be delivered before the end of this year – 14 LRT cranes and 13 LTM cranes with a total value of over 23 million euros.

Active Green: Environment protection event at Liebherr in Bulgaria

At the end of April the approximately 250 participants in the 6th Liebherr "Active Green" initiative made an important contribution to environment protection. Employees of Liebherr Domestic Appliances Marica EOOD, as well as their families and friends, redesigned four public parks in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and planted new trees and shrubs.
