Liebherr-Aerospace to Supply NORDAM with Anti-ice Valves for Airbus A320neo Next-generation Nacelle
Liebherr-Aerospace announced an agreement with U.S.-based NORDAM to develop, manufacture, test and certify anti-ice valves to be used in a NORDAM-developed engine build-up system for A320neos equipped with the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engine. The contract is considered a major milestone in Liebherr’s long-term strategy.

The Polish crane and heavy haulage company Dźwigi Mazowsze Marcin Zielonka has taken possession of the first Liebherr rough-terrain crane of type LRT 1100-2.1 in Poland. It is the first rough-terrain crane in the company’s fleet and is earmarked for long-term construction sites and applications on rough terrain. Besides the off-road handling, important decision criteria were high performance and safety.

Liebherr presents LTM 1300-6.2 Mobile Crane at Bauma China
Liebherr presents its 300 tonne mobile crane LTM 1300-6.1 at Bauma China 2018. It is the most powerful 300-tonner available on the mobile crane market. The six-axle crane features a 78 m telescopic boom. On the one hand it is designed as a simple folding jib crane whilst on the other it is the smallest luffing jib crane on the market providing crane operators with a low cost entry point into the luffing jib crane class. Liebherr Wheel Loader L 550: Greatest Level of Efficiency in All Applications
At Bauma China 2018, Liebherr is exhibiting the wheel loader L 550, an example of its expanding wheel loader product range for China and less / non regulated countries. Due to its hydrostatic driveline, the L 550 is – like all Liebherr wheel loaders – very fuel efficient, consuming up to 25 percent less fuel compared with conventional wheel loaders under the same conditions. The optimum weight distribution of the machine increases productivity at work, because larger buckets can be used to handle more material with each loading cycle.

Liebherr mobile cranes slide the Wuppertal suspension railway trains into retirement
After around 45 years’ operation, WSW Mobil, the operating company behind the Wuppertal suspension railway, has replaced the final generation 72 trains. After a maximum of 45 years in operation, the trains were removed and taken to new sites. After a great deal of controversy broke out about the old trains, in addition to being sold, some of them where in fact raffled. Two LTF 1060-4.1 from Neeb were used for assembly work at one of the new sites.
