Do you enjoy spontaneously opening a good bottle of wine or Champagne? Then our wine tempering refrigerators are the perfect choice for you. That’s because a selection of different wines can be stored here at the optimal drinking temperature for each one. Depending on the model, our appliances offer up to three temperature zones which can be individually adjusted. The temperature can be set accurately to the degree between 41° F and 68°F (5°C and 20°C).

These appliances also offer the ideal climate conditions for long-term wine storage and are the perfect match for any wine collection.

You don’t have a wine cellar at home? No problem – our wine storage refrigerators offer similar conditions to those of a wine cellar. A constant temperature is maintained throughout the interior of these appliances. They can be adjusted to between 41° F and 68°F (5°C and 20°C), depending on your requirements. Wine storage refrigerators are ideal for the long-term storage and maturing of wines. However, depending on the set temperature, these appliances can also hold a large supply of wine at drinking temperature.

The ideal storage temperature for all wines lies between 41° F and 68°F (5°C and 20°C). It is important that the temperature stays as constant as possible. Only then can a wine’s natural harmony of flavors be preserved.

Double protection. With TempProtect Plus, our wine refrigerators constantly measure the temperature with two sensors. This gives you double the assurance that your wines are protected from temperature fluctuations. This is because you are alerted as soon as one of the sensors detects a critical change in temperature, allowing you to take action quickly.

The quality of the ambient air is a decisive factor in the maturing of wine during storage. That’s because all kinds of odors can be transferred to the wine – and negatively affect it.

Optimal fresh air.

All wine refrigerators from Liebherr have an integrated FreshAir activated charcoal filter which ensures optimal air quality. The activated charcoal captures all kinds of odors. The FreshAir activated charcoal filter exchanges the air to prevent odors from the ambient air reaching the interior of the cabinet and distorting the flavor of the wine. Some models include a FreshAir activated charcoal filter in each temperature zone, while others have the filter located at the zone divider, working for both zones at the same time. We recommend replacing the FreshAir activated charcoal filter once a year. It can be ordered as an accessory and is easy to replace.

HumiditySelect

The right humidity is an important factor for the long-term storage of wine. Don’t let your corks crumble. With HumiditySelect, you can set the humidity on the display of the Vinidor models in two levels: “Standard humidity” and “High humidity.” It’s so simple, and so good for your wine, because the optimum humidity ensures that the corks stay moist and keep your bottles tightly sealed. The high level of humidity in wine storage refrigerators is achieved thanks to the generous size of the evaporator system and the special circulated air regulation in the refrigerated wine refrigerator.

Your wine needs peace and quiet. That’s why our wine refrigerators guarantee gentle safekeeping with particularly quiet compressors specially developed by Liebherr and stable wooden shelves made of solid beech wood. This allows your wine to mature quietly and undisturbed.

Ideal positioning.

The wine can mature in peace on the stable, handmade wooden shelves. These are not painted to ensure that the wine is not damaged by any paint vapors. The handmade shelves made from untreated wood are optimally designed for safe storage of Bordeaux bottles. Of course, you can also store other bottle shapes just as conveniently. In such a case, the bottle capacity will reduce accordingly. Our tip: If you store the wine bottles directly next to each other, you can make full use of the capacity of the appliances.

Gentle closing.

The SoftSystem soft stop mechanism ensures particularly gentle door closing and prevents harmful vibrations. From an opening angle of approximately 45° for freestanding and 30° for fully integrated appliances, the door closes automatically.

UV protection from Liebherr.

Wine bottles are almost always tinted – this is because ultraviolet rays are dangerous for all wines. However, the bottle alone does not provide sufficient protection from this harmful light.

Triple protection. For long-term storage, the wine refrigerators with glass door offer unprecedented protection from UV radiation: three protective layers consisting of tinted glass and a double layer of vacuum-deposited. This combination of glass almost completely reflects the harmful UV rays and effectively prevents them from impairing the quality of the wine.

LED lighting.

Innovative technology ensures even lighting of the interior without any UV exposure. The LED light spectrum used does not contain any ultraviolet rays. And thanks to the minimal heat generation of the LEDs, the wines can also be illuminated even over a longer period without the bottles warming up at any point.
