Building handover: Fit-out phase begins for Liebherr-Aerospace’s new service center in Dubai (UAE)

Following the milestone of official hand over, Liebherr-Aerospace has begun with the fit-out activities, bringing the facility closer to operational readiness in June 2026.

Located within the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai South, this new Liebherr entity will significantly enhance our customer support portfolio by providing maintenance, repair, and overhaul services (MRO) for air management components. Its strategic location in the new Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC-AMIA) area will offer customers direct and efficient access to MRO services on Liebherr equipment in the Middle East.

Spanning across approximately 2,400 m² and initially certified in accordance with EASA/GCAA Part 145, the new facility will offer a broad range of component MRO services directly on site, including cleaning, minor repairs, and welding for Liebherr heat transfer equipment. By localizing these capabilities in the Middle East, the service center will enhance efficiency and create tangible added value for customers across the region.

This development represents another significant milestone for Liebherr-Aerospace in the region, as it supports the growing demand for aftermarket repair capacity and reinforces Liebherr’s long-term commitment to the Middle East market.
