Liebherr manufactures 2,000th LHM

Marcegaglia’s latest acquisition, the LHM 600, marks a significant milestone as the 2,000th mobile harbour crane produced and delivered by Liebherr. This crane is not only a testament to Liebherr’s engineering expertise but also a celebration of five decades of innovation in the maritime industry. The LHM 600 will be instrumental in handling steel products, and is the sixth Liebherr mobile harbour crane for the Italian company.

With the LTR 11200, Universal Cranes is adding a completely overhauled pre-used crane to its fleet. One of the telescopic crawler crane’s first jobs for the Australian crane hire company was during the modernisation of a railway crossing in Brisbane, where it successfully installed bridge girders and thus mastered the challenges of a complex infrastructure project.

Liebherr-Australia and Roy Hill announce new partnership

On 11 February, executives from Liebherr-Australia and Roy Hill came together to commemorate the new partnership between the two companies. The celebrations included the handover of an R 9800 excavator that had both its bucket and counterweight painted pink to highlight the role the machine will play in supporting women and families battling the scourge of breast cancer.

Bridge demolition: Swiss giant creates “clear conditions” in Hanau

At some point, it had to happen. After many years of preparation, the experts at the construction company Max Wild in Berkheim bei Memmingen, the crane hire company Emil Egger in St. Gallen, the building authority of the City of Hanau, Deutsche Bahn and other stakeholders completed the concept for the demolition of the Eisenstrassenbrücke, which had been built in 1959 at the western end of the main railway station in Hanau. In the week before Christmas, work commenced and the first section of the bridge was demolished.

From March 10, 2025, Liebherr is launching its new Parts Shop, which replaces all former spare part shops and brings the entire range under one virtual roof. The shop is linked with other popular services from MyLiebherr and has a modern user interface.

Flexible and economical: Krösche takes delivery of three further Liebherr LTF 1045-4.1 truck-mounted cranes

Krösche-Kran Service GmbH, a specialist provider of assembly services for prefabricated houses, has taken delivery of three new LTF 1045-3.1 truck-mounted telescopic cranes. The company, based in Holzminden, Lower Saxony, exclusively uses telescopic cranes mounted on a standard truck chassis for its work throughout Germany.

Na pitoresca localidade de Rothesütte, perto da fronteira com a Baixa Saxônia, foi construída a torre de observação mais alta de Harz, com o formato da “maior vassoura de bruxa do mundo”. Foi usado um guindaste de torre Liebherr 340 EC-B 16 com uma altura de gancho de 57,5 metros e um alcance de 40 metros para os exigentes trabalhos de elevação no canteiro de obras.

Innovations in Liebherr wheel loaders: autonomous operation and hydrogen drive

At Bauma 2025, Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH will be showcasing two innovations which represent the latest advancements in digitalisation and drive technologies – the “Liebherr Autonomous Operations” system and the first large wheel loader with a hydrogen engine. The autonomous solution, which is at an advanced stage of development, allows completely driverless operation and is particularly suitable for monotonous routine tasks and operations in hazard zones. In addition, Liebherr's autonomous system is currently one of few products still under consideration for the Innovation Award at bauma, the leading trade fair in the construction industry. Alongside this groundbreaking debut, Liebherr will also be presenting pioneering advancements in drive technologies: the L 566 H is the first prototype of a large wheel loader with a hydrogen engine, thus expanding the range of alternative drive systems. After Bauma 2025, Liebherr will begin a two-year trial of this machine at STRABAG, one of Europe’s leading construction technology groups.

Liebherr is launching two world premières at Bauma 2025: the new Generation 6 of the Telescopic Handler and the entry into the 8-Metre Class

At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is making the first public presentation of the new Generation 6 of the Telescopic Handler. With the new edition of the “S” Telescopic Handlers, in the lower performance class up to 4.2 tonnes, the load capacities have been increased by up to nine percent. The revised cabin has a great deal to offer in driver comfort. Newly introduced Assistance Systems are expanding the application capabilities and make the machine more pleasant and safer to operate. With the new T 48-8s Telescopic Handler, Liebherr is entering the 8-Metre Class for the first time, thereby expanding its product range in the industrial segment.
