New Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane delivers strength and flexibility
The Ingolstadt site of crane contractor BKL Baukran Logistik has had a new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane since February. The first job for the brand-new eight-axle crane, the dismantling of a 75 metre construction crane, was perfect for it. The 85 metre telescopic boom on the LTM 1450-8.1 meant that no extra equipment was required for this job. After a set-up time of less than two hours during the night, the team from BKL Ingolstadt was able to start dismantling the top-slewing crane in the morning.

Three new Liebherr mobile cranes for Gruas Leman
Spanish crane rental contractor Gruas Leman took delivery of three new mobile cranes at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen. The LTM 1130-5.1, LTM 1200-5.1 and LTM 1300-6.2 cranes will help the company based in Tarragona to modernise its crane fleet and the strengthen its market position.

First ever Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 fire service crane delivered to Taiwan
Lian Zheng has invested in an LTM 1070-4.2 fire service crane from Liebherr and has imported the first ever of these special cranes to Taiwan. The crane and heavy haulage contractor has nine mobile cranes in its all-Liebherr fleet. Company proprietor Kuo-Pao Wu and his wife Shu-Chin Wu Ho took the opportunity to travel to Ehingen to take delivery of the crane in person.

M-Kran takes delivery of another Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane
Crane company M-Kran took delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane in December. This is the second crane of this type in the fleet as the Liebherr 500-tonne machine is in particularly high demand in Russia. The 8-axle 500-tonne mobile crane represents an expansion in the Moscow company's fleet in this load capacity class. The LTM 1500-8.1 is now the fourth mobile crane that Liebherr has delivered to M-Kran this year.

TOPKRAN orders mobile and crawler cranes from Liebherr worth 42 million euros
Moscow-based crane rental company TOPKRAN placed an order with Liebherr at the start of December for the delivery of mobile and crawler cranes worth a total of 42 million euros. The order includes cranes with lifting capacities between 220 and 1350 tonnes. The need to meet the rising demand in the Russian market persuaded TOPKRAN to significantly expand its fleet.

A l'occasion d’Intermat, Liebherr présente la LTM 1450-8.1 de 450 tonnes de capacité de charge maximale. La grue se distingue par une flèche télescopique alliant 85 mètres de longueur et performances. La nouvelle LTM 1450-8.1 est mise en œuvre dans de nombreux chantier où devraient intervenir des grues de 500 tonnes de capacités.

Liebherr présente une grue automotrice lente à Intermat 2018
dévoilées au public lors du salon Conexpo l’an passé Liebherr élargit son programme de grues mobiles avec une nouvelle série de grues automotrices lentes de catégorie 90 et 100 tonnes. Les grues Liebherr Rough-Terrain LRT 1090-2.1 et LRT 1100-2.1. Les visiteurs pourront voir la LRT 1090-2.1. Elle se caractérise par un niveau élevé de puissance, de sécurité et de confort.

Al Faris places major order for 25 Liebherr mobile cranes
Liebherr has received a major order from Al Faris Equipment Rentals: the company based in Dubai, UAE has ordered 25 new Liebherr mobile cranes to mark its 25th anniversary. The order includes twelve models of the brand new Liebherr LRT 1090-2.1 and LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain cranes. The first cranes from the order are due to be delivered late last year.

BMS takes delivery of first Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 mobile crane
Danish crane and heavy haulage contractor BMS took delivery of the very first LTM 1090-4.2 in mid-December 2017. Liebherr first unveiled the 90-tonne crane in March of the same year at the Conexpo in Las Vegas. The new 4-axle crane is extremely flexible since it can travel with axle loads of 10 tonnes, 12 tonnes and 16 tonnes. It features a 60-metre telescopic boom, a whole 10 metres more than its predecessor, the LTM 1090-4.1.

Riga-Mainz completes impressive job with trio of powerful Liebherr cranes
Riga-Mainz produced an impressive performance in a demanding crane and heavy load job involving the installation of a bridge in Essen during November. A steel bridge weighing 418 tonnes and measuring around 50 metres in length had to be positioned over a section of railway track. One of the cranes involved was the new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane.

Christmas tree erected for luxury hotel in St. Moritz
It made a nice change for Swiss construction contractor Hartmann and its Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane. At the end of November, the 60-tonne crane erected a 12-metre Christmas tree in front of the Badrutt’s Palace luxury hotel in St. Moritz. The three tonne fir tree with Christmas decorations creates a festive highlight in the entrance of the 5 star hotel.

First Liebherr LRT rough-terrain cranes delivered
Wasel GmbH Schwerlastlogistik accepted two rough-terrain cranes of the new LRT series from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the end of November. With the LRT 1090-2.1 and the LRT 1100-2.1, the company now has the first machines of this new series. The company primarily plans to deploy both rough-terrain cranes in opencast mining as well as on major construction sites with long periods of use.

A Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 mobile crane installed a gantry crane in difficult conditions. The new 50-tonne compact crane operated by Gummersbach-based crane contractor Ley had to work in a very little space.

Tower cranes were assembled in September on the natural electricity storage site at Gaildorf, an innovative energy storage project being completed by the Max Bögl Group in southern Germany. The contractor erected the highest wind turbines in the world there. Max Bögl is combining the wind turbines with a pumped-storage power plant. A Liebherr mobile crane was used to assemble the 630 EC-H top-slewing cranes from the same manufacturer. On the site near Schwäbisch Hall, the LTM 11200-9.1 assembled the three massive construction cranes on the 40-metre high foundations of the wind turbines which are also used as water storage basins.
