Liebherr Nenzing delivers more crawler cranes to Bigge
At Conexpo 2020, Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH handed over 22 crawler cranes to its long-standing partner, Bigge Crane and Rigging. The new LR 1300.1 SX now joins the fleet of one of the largest crane rental companies in the world.

Difficult terrain? No problem for Sarilar with the new Liebherr LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain crane
The Sarilar Group took delivery of a rough-terrain crane from the new LRT series at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen in January. The LRT 1100-2.1 ensures that the company is now fully prepared for future jobs and work in challenging terrain. Sarilar will also shortly be receiving the first LR 1750/2 with an SX boom in Turkey.

Liebherr’s newest generation of crawler excavators, the R 926 and R 938 featured at Conexpo
In the last year, Liebherr has launched seven crawler excavator models under 55 US tons (50 tonnes). Generation 8 machines have even greater power, higher productivity and more comfort for the operator. The new R 926 and R 938 models are being featured at Conexpo. Liebherr 125 K: the largest fast-erecting crane in its class
Liebherr will present the newest fast-erecting crane at Conexpo 2020: the 125 K. With a radius of 180 ft (55 m) and a maximum hook height of 215 ft (65.6 m), it is currently the largest fast-erecting crane on the market.

On 1 April 2020, Daniel Pitzer will change position and move to the Liebherr headquarters for mobile and crawler cranes in Ehingen, Germany, becoming CFO of the mobile and crawler crane division. His successor in charge of the USA market for the Mobile and Crawler Cranes Division is Pierre Bilgeri. Liebherr continues to rely on long term partnerships with satisfied customers in the USA.

When centimetres count – RemoteDrive on Liebherr compact crane proves itself in practice
Last autumn, Salgert GmbH took delivery of the first Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 compact cranes with RemoteDrive. The concept of manoeuvring using the remote control has now proven itself in practice in very constricted conditions in a production building of a specialist aluminium die-casting company in Bad Münstereifel.

Une LG 1750 d'occasion pour S.E Levage : Performance & rapidité sur un parc éolien
L’entreprise française de levage et de transport S.E Levage a fait l’acquisition à l’automne dernier d'une LG 1750 issue du site de Liebherr Ehingen. La particularité de cette acquisition : la grue à flèche en treillis provient de l’énorme parc de grues d’occasion commercialisées par le constructeur de grues. Acheminée vers la France dès sa sortie d'usine, la puissante grue automotrice est destinée au montage éolien, sur les nombreux parcs éoliens de l’hexagone. Avec de bonnes conditions météo, la LG 1750 est capable de monter trois éoliennes en une semaine. Un défi relevé avec brio grâce au concept ingénieux d’équipement et à la rapidité des manœuvres jusqu’au chantier suivant.

Liebherr will be unveiling its new LTM 1120-4.1 at the CONEXPO in Las Vegas using the slogan “There’s nothing more on 4!” It is the most powerful 4-axle all-terrain crane ever built. The new 120-tonne machine breaks into a performance class which has previously been the sole preserve of 5-axle cranes. As far as boom length is concerned, it is on a par with 200-tonne class cranes as its 66 metre telescopic boom is the longest ever to be installed on a 4-axle mobile crane. Liebherr will start deliveries of the new LTM 1120-4.1 in autumn 2020.

Liebherr MK 88 Plus mobile construction crane masters 1,600 lifts in the Swiss Alps
In the autumn of last year, a crane operation of epic proportions was required for one of the largest infrastructure projects currently under way in Switzerland. Under considerable time pressure, a new 900-square-metre base structure needed to be constructed for the new imposing Lake Grimsel arch dam in the Alps before the onset of winter. A large-scale concrete mixing plant is due to be built on the base this spring. The construction company Frutiger AG is involved in the project and in October deployed its MK 88 Plus Liebherr mobile construction crane to the construction site, located at an altitude of almost 2,000 metres, for this Alpine assignment.

C’est sous la bannière « Rien de mieux sur 4 essieux » que Liebherr présente sa nouvelle LTM 1120-4.1 sur le salon Conexpo de Las Vegas. Il s’agit de la grue tout terrain sur 4 essieux la plus puissante jamais vue sur le marché. La nouvelle 120 tonnes aborde une capacité de charge réservée jusque là aux 5 essieux. Sa longueur de flèche va même jusqu’à se mesurer à celle des grues de la catégorie des 200 tonnes : Sa flèche télescopique de 66 mètres est la plus longue sur une grue mobile 4 essieux. La livraison de la nouvelle Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 est prévue à l’automne 2020.

Two years on a major construction site – LTR 1060 in flexible action on a site measuring 1.2 km
An ambitious infrastructure project has been ongoing in Berne, Switzerland for the last three years. There is demand to massively increase capacity for rail travel. To cover this, an additional four-track railway station for regional trains will be built under the existing central station in Berne by 2027. A Liebherr LTR 1060 crawler crane owned by construction group Frutiger AG has been providing excellent service for around a year on one of the many track sections which have been adjusted and expanded for this project.

Under new management – Treffler modernises crane fleet with Liebherr mobile cranes
The Maxikraft Group took over Munich-based crane hire company Treffler on 1 October last year. The company ordered seven new Liebherr mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 230 tonnes to modernise the complete fleet. Four of the cranes were delivered in January. The other three cranes are scheduled to be delivered in the spring.

Ulferts & Wittrock modernises fleet with Liebherr mobile cranes
The Ulferts & Wittrock Group has taken delivery of forty new Liebherr mobile cranes during the last year. Another order package for forty cranes for delivery this year has already been signed. Ulferts & Wittrock, which is active throughout Germany, is using the new Liebherr cranes to modernise its fleet with lifting capacities of between 30 and 250 tonnes.
