Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Liebherr’s center of competence for air management systems, started operation in a new logistic distribution center with its logistic partner. The facility covers 2,100 sqm and offers a 13 m high storage area for the handling and dispatching of Liebherr-Aerospace products.
The building in which the logistic partner supports Liebherr-Aerospace regarding import/export, customs, packaging, exit controls as well as inventory management activities is conveniently close to the facilities of Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse.
Positioning the logistic distribution center and the manufacturing site of Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse near to each other is more effective, optimizes supply chain flows and enhances the overall control of the supply chain. Liebherr thus enhances its delivery performance for the benefit of its customers.

Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.
