A new service center in Dubai South
Liebherr is progressing its initiative to launch a new EASA Part 145 certified service center at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai South. This milestone represents a defining step in Liebherr’s confidence and long-term investment in the Middle East by expanding local repair and overhaul capabilities, reducing dependence on distant and costly supply chain, and reinforcing our commitment to the region and the customers the company serves.

Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.
