LTC 1050-3.1 enjoys successful market launch

For exactly one year the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen has been delivering the new compact crane, model LTC 1050-3.1. The innovative mobile crane with a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes has proven extremely popular on the market and has positioned itself superbly. Around 60 machines of this type are now operating on building sites around the world. The main new features on this compact all-terrain crane, which is designed for use in industrial buildings and constricted areas, include the VarioBase® variable supporting base developed by Liebherr. But the heavy duty jib, hook traverse and the optional telescoping driver's cabin have also proven to be valuable features in practice.

At the GaLaBau 2016 trade fair Liebherr showcases special machines for horticulture and landscaping in Nuremberg (Germany). From 14 - 17 September 2016 visitors can find the Liebherr stand in Hall 7, No. 7-424. Here Liebherr presents a total of five compact special machines from its earthmoving range.

Las grúas torre de Liebherr trabajan en la construcción del edificio más alto de Europa

La constructora Renaissance Construction emplea actualmente un total de diez grúas torre de Liebherr de la empresa de alquiler Sutek en la construcción del Lakhta Center en la ciudad rusa de San Petersburgo. Una parte de este proyecto consiste en construir el futuro edificio más alto de Europa, la Lakhta Tower, y un edificio de usos múltiples adyacente. En la construcción de la torre participan tres grúas de pluma abatible del tipo 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic y una del tipo 357 HC-L 12/24 Litronic. Para la construcción del edificio multiusos se utilizan tres grúas de pluma abatible 357 HC-L 12/24 Litronic y tres grúas High-Top 280 EC-H 12 Litronic.

Liebherr delivers 1000th LTM 1130-5.1 to Austrian construction contractor Trepka

Liebherr unveiled a new 130-tonne mobile crane with a 60-metre telescopic boom at the Bauma 2007 – the LTM 1130-5.1. The 1000th crane of this type left the manufacturing plant in June this year. Construction contractor Alfred Trepka GmbH based in Ober-Grafendorf in Lower Austria took delivery of the new crane at a small celebration. The LTM 1130-5.1 will be a new addition and the largest crane in the company's fleet. The time-tested 5-axle crane from Liebherr features the most innovative crane equipment as a result of the company continuously installing its latest technologies into it.

New Liebherr R 924 crawler excavator at TP-Bruetschy: bespoke configuration for diverse applications

Family-run company TP-Bruetschy recently expanded its fleet with a new R 924 Liebherr crawler excavator. The company is active in the earthmoving, civil engineering and demolition industries and already has ten Liebherr machines. The investment in the new machine offers TP-Bruetschy another advantage in terms of diversity and performance. Two new LTM 1300-6.2 for Taiwan – Chi Deh places its trust in Liebherr mobile cranes

"Liebherr mobile cranes are simply better" is the succinct statement by Taiwanese company Chi Deh. The crane contractor has updated its fleet with two new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile cranes. The long telescopic boom and luffing lattice jib where the main reasons the customer chose the modern Liebherr 6-axle machine. The LTM 1300-6.2 can reach a maximum hoisting height of a massive 114 metres.

Liebherr-Aerospace on Board with TRJet for 328 Series

Liebherr-Aerospace signed two contracts regarding the TRJet’s 328 Series on July 12, 2016 at Farnborough Airshow: The company will supply the complete air management system for the aircraft. The scope includes design and service of the bleed air system, precooling, cabin and cockpit environmental conditioning, as well as the pressurization system. It will be operated by a single integrated controller and ensures a safe, healthy and comfortable environment during flight. Furthermore, Liebherr-Aerospace will supply the flap and spoiler actuation subsystem for the 328 Series.

LTM 1200-5.1 para Argentina: Grúas Londres refuerza su flota de grúas con una grúa móvil de Liebherr

Grúas Londres S.A., una empresa argentina de alquiler de grúas, ha adquirido recientemente una grúa móvil Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1. La creciente demanda de trabajos con grúa en el sector petroquímico ha motivado esta inversión en una grúa móvil de 200 toneladas. Electrical Environmental Control System of Liebherr Successful during First Flight of Clean Sky/Airbus Flight Lab

The new electrical environmental control system of Liebherr-Aerospace was successfully tested during the first flight of the Clean Sky/Airbus Flight Lab in June 2016. The success was celebrated during a ceremony organised by Airbus, in Toulouse (France) on July 7, 2016, with all partners involved.

Liebherr Supplies Additional Bogie Coupling Systems for Alstom’s Prima H3 Hybrid Shunting Locomotive

Liebherr-Transportation Systems received a follow-up order from ALSTOM Lokomotiven Service GmbH in Stendal (Germany) of eleven hydraulic bogie coupling systems for the three-axle Prima H3 hybrid shunting locomotive. Since 2014, the company has supplied ten systems for the Prima H3. Installation of the ordered bogie coupling systems is set to begin in July 2016.
