Two LTM 1230-5.1 cranes lift pipe bridge over motorway

In a spectacular night-time operation, a pipe bridge weighing around 60 tonnes was installed over the A41 motorway in Rotkreuz, Switzerland (Canton of Zug). The operation required an enormous logistical effort and was part of the construction of a new district heating network.

The Turkish crane and heavy-lift company Doğu Kurtarma Vinç has expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 mobile crane. With electric crane drive: Richi AG acquires Liebherr MK 120-5.1E mobile construction crane

New for old: Richi AG, based in Weiningen (Canton of Zurich), has taken delivery of a Liebherr MK 120-5.1E mobile construction crane. The new crane replaces a 19-year-old MK 100 in the Swiss company’s fleet. The crane drive on MK mobile construction cranes has been electric since the introduction of this Liebherr series around 25 years ago. As a result, MK cranes can be powered directly by site electricity as standard – as an alternative to the integrated diesel generator.
