Liebherr ha suministrado recientemente la primera grúa del tipo LTM 1750-9.1 a México. A principios de julio la empresa de grúas mejicana GMVykon tomó posesión de la nueva grúa de 750 toneladas en el recinto de la fábrica de Liebherr en Monterrey (México). La grúa móvil de 9 ejes amplía la flota de la empresa de forma considerable y ahora es la grúa más potente de la flota. GMVykon basa su decisión en favor de Liebherr en la reconocida calidad del servicio técnico y en la presencia directa en México.
GMVykon valora muy positivamente el mercado mejicano para grúas grandes. José Cortez comenta: "México ofrece buenas perspectivas con grandes proyectos en infraestructuras, industria y energía. Las grúas modernas y seguras nos ayudan a realizar estos proyectos. Nos hemos decidido por Liebherr, porque Liebherr asiste a sus clientes con una presencia directa y con un servicio técnico a clientes fiable en México. Esto nos ha facilitado la decisión de ampliar nuestra flota con una grúa grande."
La primera intervención de la grúa serán los trabajos de montaje en una acería, las siguientes aplicaciones serán en la industria petrolífera.
