The LIPOS® add-on kit includes a fixture for the easy and quick installation of hardware without the need to change the machine structure. DGNSS data are integrated using a software enhancement of the process data recording system (PDE®). The GNSS antennas are mounted on the leader so enabling an optimum signal quality and intensity. The combination of the visualized digitized drilling plans with the actual DGNSS and machine data provides optimum assistance to the operator for the exact positioning and precise execution of the drilling process.
Transforming data usage to the next level
The integration of an external machine control system allows for a comprehensive and consistent recording of positioning data in PDE® as well as the visualization and analysis in the Process Data Reporting (PDR2) software. LiDAT® data transmission enables the automated transfer of recorded data via GSM and GPRS out from the machine to the reporting software PDR2. Reports generated can be used for traceability, documentation and quality assurance. Such processes also assure the visibility and transparency of hidden under ground work through tamper-proof data consolidation. The positioning system LIPOS® is seamlessly integrated into existing Liebherr IT-solutions and compatible for a wide range of Liebherr deep foundation machines.
More than just positioning
Increase of efficiency and productivity through fast and accurate positioning/navigation of the drilling and piling rig and site equipment is achieved by using a state-of-the-art Differential Global Navigation Satellite System. Such digitally assisted positioning of the equipment and the avoidance of time consuming surveying tasks save both time and money while simultaneously also increasing safety on the job site and improving the working conditions. On top of that, faster navigation and positioning through digitalized assistance saves fuel costs and thereby reduces CO2 emissions and protects the environment. The optimization of processes lowers the error rate and prevents extra work resulting in less operating hours for the same work and, consequently, less exhaust emission.
