News | 01/16/2017 Entry into Service: Liebherr-Aerospace on board the CS300 commercial aircraft

On December 14th, 2016, airBaltic, the launch operator of the CS300* aircraft, took passengers from Riga to Amsterdam during the first maiden commercial flight of the aircraft.

Liebherr-Aerospace supplies the integrated air management system and landing gear system for the CS300 - the largest model in Bombardier’s C Series* family of aircraft.

Liebherr-Aerospace applied the extensive experience gained in the commercial aviation sector, and particularly in other Bombardier programs, and further optimized the operating costs and reliability of its technologies for the CS300 aircraft. The jet can carry between 130 and 160 passengers and offers long range capabilities, low fuel burn, reduced noise and emissions, as well as a new standard in cabin design to ensure an unrivalled passenger experience.

Liebherr-Aerospace offers support solutions for its components and systems during the CS300 aircraft’s entire life cycle. Thanks to its international network of maintenance, repair and overhaul stations and spares distribution facilities, the company’s customer service organization ensures customer proximity and high-level performance for aircraft operators across the world.
