Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. agreed to purchase an LR 1800-1.0 on the first day of ConExpo. Bigge President Weston Settlemier along with Joe Nelms and Brian Noga, joined Daniel Pitzer and Pierre Bilgeri of Liebherr to shake hands on the deal.
The LR 1800-1.0 is just the latest Liebherr crane purchase by Bigge, in addition to over 100 Liebherr cranes already in its fleet, Bigge currently has 27 Liebherr cranes valued at over $52 million dollars that will be delivered from Liebherr-Werk Ehingen in the next 12 – 18 months.
The key features of the LR 1800-1.0, which is an 880 US-ton (800t) crane, are outstanding lifting capacity and low cost worldwide transport. The LR 1800-1.0 is a particularly powerful crane that can accommodate industrial and wind applications.
