The Web Developer will be responsible for developing new applications, support and enhancement of existing applications, and maintaining the web application portal(s). The Web Developer will participate in feature support, change and configuration management, and drive quality into the development process.
Responsibilities
Level I
- Design, develop, and test web applications using C#, .NET Framework, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Convert existing applications (Java, SharePoint) to web-based applications.
- Maintain and develop features for existing applications to enhance quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with key users to perform requirements gathering.
- Collaborate with other IT departments of the Group.
- Document change and adhere to programming standards and techniques.
- Ensure applications and web services function effectively and run securely. Fix bugs.
- Configure and maintain automated business processes as defined by the process owners.
- Production Support of internal applications and system integrations.
- Create and maintain web portals.
- Monitor availability and traffic of web and database servers.
- Escalates issues as necessary to proper team.
- Ensure that all company IT security policies are met.
- Learn business processes.
- Write technical and user documentation.
- Work on small projects.
Level II
- All duties of Level I.
- Work on projects as needed.
- Train users in application usage and setting up of additional in-application settings.
- Develop strategy for the installation and testing of major releases.
- Provide supporting documentation for internal web-based applications and projects.
- Strive to increase productivity in our constantly changing environment.
- Lead small to medium sized projects.
- Learn and understand most business processes.
Level III
- All duties of Level I and II.
- Provide architecture documentation for all internal applications.
- Lead large sized projects.
- Mentor and train Level I and II developers.
- Manage relationships with Business Owners.
- Identify problems upstream, carry out reasoned diagnoses, and solve all operational problems.
- Follow and integrate future developments in application development.
- Assist the lead development team in France with best practices and standards as needed.
Competencies
Education and Experience:
- Level I: A minimum of one of the following.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with two or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Four or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Level II: A minimum of one of the following.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field with two or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with four or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Six or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Level III: A minimum of one of the following.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field with four or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with six or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
- Eight or more years demonstrated work experience in software/web application development.
All Levels
- Experience with Microsoft reporting tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint; experience with Nintex workflows is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Analyzing systems and processes in a business environment.
- Making decisions; supporting and explaining reasoning for decisions; and including appropriate people in the decision-making process.
- Meeting productivity standards and completing work in a timely manner.

- Level I
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft BI Suite (SSDB, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI).
- Basic knowledge and experience with large-scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Basic knowledge of business systems.
- Basic knowledge and experience of Microsoft software development technologies (Visual Studio).
- Basic knowledge and experience in application development technologies (C#, .NET, Angular, etc.).
- Basic knowledge and experience developing applications with a SQL Server backend.
- Basic knowledge and experience with Git, Team Foundation Server, or similar source control tool
- Basic knowledge and experience with Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Basic knowledge and experience in automating business processes using workflows that validate content, manage permissions, handle routing, notifications and web services.
- Level II
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft BI Suite (SSIS, SSAS).
- Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint On-premises, SQL Server databases, and MS reporting tools.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with large-scale enterprise resource planning systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of business systems.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience of MS software development technologies.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in application development technologies.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience developing applications with a SQL Server backend.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Git or similar source control software
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in automating business processes using workflows that validate content, manage permissions, handle routing, notifications and web services.
- Develops business solutions using a wide range of tools.
- Strong autonomy / ability to work with little to no supervision.

Additional Requirements:
- Travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
