Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH at its construction in 1954
Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH based in Bad Schussenried manufactures an extensive range of mobile and stationary concrete mixing plants. Furthermore, it serves as one of the eleven divisional control companies in the Liebherr Group and coordinates all operations in concrete technology.
Concrete technology for every requirement
To produce and transport high-quality concrete grades and then bring them to the construction site requires innovative machines with extremely wear-resistant technology. The extensive product range of concrete mixing plants made by Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH meets the widest variety of requirements. The bandwidth ranges from the compact mobile plant right up to the powerful stationary mixing plant for bulk concrete with a discharge output up to 10,000 cubic meters per day.
High quality is guaranteed by the on-site modern technical center with concrete laboratory where all new products are tested and analyzed. Mixing tests involving different materials or recipes are also carried out here to satisfy customer needs.

Concrete pumps from state-of-the-art production
From 2019 concrete pumps are being manufactured at the Bad Schussenried site. Liebherr is now a full-service provider in this area. The new production facilities permit the highest quality standards.
Truck mixers from state-of-the-art flow production
Since 1967 truck mixers for concrete transportation have also been produced at the Bad Schussenried plant. In 2005 truck mixer production was switched to state-of-the art flow production. The new facilities permit even higher quality standards with annual production reaching 4,500 units.

Concrete transportation: Fast and flexible
Liebherr provides truck mixers in different sizes or as a semitrailer for transportation of concrete. A conveyor belt is available as an option for delivery of concrete at the construction site. With a reach up to 16.4 meters, it is quickly operational and in addition to concrete, it can also transfer materials such as sand or gravel.
Concrete mixing plants: Modular and wear-resistant
Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH manufactures horizontal and vertical models of its stationary concrete mixing plants as well as mobile plants for short-term use on the construction site. Liebherr's own mixing systems are used in the concrete mixing plants. Discharge outputs from 30 to 300 cubic meters per hour are possible.
- The modular structure of the plants means they can be used in a wide range of applications with expandability at any time.
- High-quality concrete is produced as Liebherr mixing systems are perfectly matched to the stationary mixing plants.
- The Liebherr Litronic-FMS II moisture measuring system measures the moisture in the sand and thus ensures the quality.
- The mixing drums are made from extremely wear-resistant special steel (LH37) to give them a long service life.
- Continuous welded protective strips on the spirals along with optimized sheet metal thicknesses give additional protection against wear.
Reliable and economic concrete construction
Liebherr provides different truck mounted concrete pumps with boom sizes up to a 50-meter vertical reach for economic concrete construction on the construction site. High-performance stationary concrete pumps are available as trailer concrete pumps or as a concrete pump with crawler travel gear. Concrete distributor booms and climber booms are also included in the product range. Liebherr manufactures truck mounted concrete pumps for smaller construction sites. The large variety enables concrete to be pumped reliably and economically under different conditions.
