The right solution for every task: Liebherr’s tower crane programme is unsurpassed in terms of versatility. The high-quality fast-erecting, top-slewing, luffing jib and special cranes are used all over the world. Thanks to modern crane technology, efficient, safe and reliable operation on the construction site is possible. A wide range of services and comprehensive customer service for tower cranes complete the portfolio.
Liebherr is presenting its first large cranes with high-strength Fibre rope at Bauma 2022. The 258 HC-L 10/18 Fibre variable luffing jib crane, the 1188 EC-H 40 Fibre high-top crane and the 520 EC-B 20 Fibre and 370 EC B 16 Fibre flat-top cranes are new to the market. They are all predestined for particularly demanding hook heights and lifts. The Fibre rope combines a significantly longer service life with greatly reduced dead weight.
The optimisation of the L1 machines primarily concerns the control technology. As the first units of a new control generation, the L1-24 and L1-32 are equipped with the fifth generation of Liebherr's own control hardware, which is already used in many other construction machines of the Liebherr Group. In terms of software, the cranes are equipped with the second generation of the Tower Crane OS operating system.
From planning to execution to data analysis - digitalisation opens up new possibilities. New planning tools and the Liebherr project department Tower Crane Solutions support the economic planning of a construction site. The Tower Crane OS and tele-operation for tower cranes further improve crane operation. With the digital construction site diary "Site Monitoring", relevant data is easily recorded, displayed and analysed.
Liebherr mobile construction cranes are primarily designed for short operations with high handling capacities. Only one person is needed for transport, assembly and operation. The ecological and sustainable hybrid power concept enables purely electric crane operation. Liebherr's most powerful MK, the MK 140, can look forward to a number of optimisations, which visitors to the Liebherr booth can see for themselves. The extremely manoeuvrable MK 73-3.1 can be experienced on the Test & Drive site.
With its first hydraulic luffing jib crane, Liebherr is sharpening its profile as a crane manufacturer for all size classes. The 195 HC-LH 6/12 is especially suitable for inner-city construction sites with limited space. Slim tower system, large hook heights, high performance and climbable - this complete package makes the 195 HC-LH 6/12 unique. In addition, the crane convinces with uncomplicated assembly and transport as well as a very small out-of-service position.
The new Tower Crane Operation System (OS) enables intelligent and future-oriented assistance systems in addition to modern control. Liebherr is providing an interactive insight into what the new developments can do at Bauma. The assistance systems actively counteract dangerous situations, such as excessive load sway.
