A real team effort: three Liebherr cranes from different series lent a hand in the modernisation of a stadium in Sibiu, Romania. A 125 K fast-erecting crane, a 340 EC-B 16 flat-top crane and an older 80 HC tower crane were all in action.

The 125 K and the 340 EC-B 16 are new machines belonging to our customer CON-A. “An amazing working speed with absolute control,” said Ciprian Bucsa, Director of Mechanisation, as he talked about working with the cranes. The Liebherr machines’ tasks included moving prefabricated concrete parts and metal structures.

The new football stadium has been modernised to meet UEFA standards. It also features an athletics venue and a boxing arena. The stadium can seat more than 13,000 people in total. It can also host concerts and other major events.
