ArcelorMittal relies on Liebherr crane technology for decarbonisation project
As part of a major decarbonisation project, ArcelorMittal is constructing a new electric arc furnace at its site in Gijón, Spain. For the lifting operations involved, the company is using a Liebherr 1188 EC-H Fibre for the first time in Spain. Fourth in the fleet: Rothmund takes a further LTM 1230-5.1 from Liebherr
Rothmund GmbH und Montage has purchased another 230-tonne mobile crane from Liebherr. This is now already the fourth LTM 1230-5.1 in the Pforzheim-based company's fleet. The 5-axle model’s excellent flexibility, coupled with the 75-metre telescopic boom, were the key factors in the decision to invest in the same model again.
